    Hello All,

    Thank you to everyone for their valiant efforts.

    I feel bad having to pick one winner because i feel like we have arrived at this point with the efforts of several designers, however the rules require me to select one winner.

    I feel like we have a really nice fundamental font, Icon shape, and will be making my selection in the next couple of days. I am heavily leaning towards Box1508, i think he/she did the best job of styling my basic icon shape.

    Thanks to all one again for eveything.

    Hello all, I would like something like what Box1508 made here #376, but want it to be more like my sample #398, with nothing behind the "aperature". But would like to modify the shape to be like the #399 shape I submitted with flared out tips.

    I think what I am looking for above all is a storm icon, like the original logo I envision...and the "eye" of the storm hints at being a shutter...

    I am very interested in a logo that looks very strong as a 2 color logo...meaning it looks just as good being full color and white logo on black BG

    Hi Everybody,

    The thing i really like about #359, is that is uses negative space to create the shape of the lightning bolt. And looks really nice as a two color logo solid white on Black.

    I would like to do something simmilar with new ICON of hurricane/shutter hybrid....would like to use the NEGATIVE SPACE more, and keep in mind how that will look as solid white on black.

    I've posted #367 to show the general shape of the icon that I like. First attempted by BOX1508 with his really nice submission #366. But want to Focus on this shape and improve upon. Want to to get away from the Lightning bolt and back to the more wind driven storm, and use of center to resemble camera shutter.

    Hi Box 1508, really great job once again. can you do something awesome like that but with a shape closer to what my original logo icon http://www.mediastormpro.com/ a little pointier, 6 tip, but maybe 5 tip is better,

    but maybe not as pointy as mine but more similar feel of the shape, and still with some creative room for your own interpretation.


    and here is sort of a cool idea, what if the center is kind like a shutter shape, sort of like this. the eye of the storm is a camera eye

    I really like the recent style of the logos submitted.

    Now maybe if we could use this same style, and change from the lightning bolt imagery.

    Instead would like to use the hurricane/tornado imagery like in earlier submissions or or what can be seen here http://www.mediastormpro.com/

    I really like the "cut outs" by Sandycreative #283, JVisualFlow #221, & Box1508 #219

    I think that if this was combined with the more textured 3D feel #271 and #232, we would be really getting somewhere.

    Also I'm looking at #283 & #221, and I really like how the solid white looks like on the dark BG. It has very good contrast.

    These are good examples where the logo to look very nice in both color and solid white.

    With your submissions, please show what the logo looks like as solid white on dark BG.

    I have seen some very nice samples submitted recently . Great job everyone!I like the more three dimensional feel

    I really like submissions by surabhi1304, carlovillamin, box1508, StAnthoney, Kleem, fix2design.

    Hi Everybody, i've got many icons to pick from and they all look great.

    However they are are very simmilar in that it is an icon on top (or to the left) and the word mediastorm.

    I feel lie more time should be spent integrating the two. I did this originally by making the "O" the storm icon, Darks I think did a nice job by making the "S" the icon.

    I would like to see more ways that the two can be integrated together like this, or in a completely original way that I or anyone else has thought of yet.

    Also,
    I'd like to point out an example by StAnthony where he/she gave more visual weight to the word Media. I think this adds some a subtle sophistication. By breaking it up and putting some emphasis on one word over an other. Also can make the word more recognizable as a logo. Similar to what people are doing to by making one word blue, which is great and I love it, but I think it need to go one step further.

    I'm getting some really great submissions and thank you all for your interest in this logo project. We are getting really close. I appreciate what you all are doing.

    Hi Everyone,

    Thanks for all your submissions. They are really looking good! Iv'e been working on a tag line, (with same guy who came up with Snap into a Slim Jim!)One of the tags have to do with the eye of the storm...if anyone has a cool idea for how an eye might be incorporated, i'd be interested seeing it.
