Draft #69 by Believer - I like this design. I would like to see a bit more of the creek and a reconfiguration of the text. Maybe the covered bridge could stick out even more. - THANKS

To all artists: Thank you for your wonderful desgns. You are truly making my job of choosing very difficulty. I am including a link to a photo that you may find helpful. I have seen logos before where part of the roof of the building (in this case, the bridge) seems to break out or emerge from the circle or oval giving it more depth and dimension. That's how I envision this.

draft #48 - I like this one, but am not crazy about the "seal" edge.

Drafts #31 & 32 by seldesign: I like these quite a lot. They are understated and elegant. My one concern is that they may be a bit too understated. I think it would be great on a wine label, but not sure about a honey jar. You've definitely captured the covered bridge and agricultural theme. Do not change that at all. I would like to see some variations of color and size, both in the graphic and the text. THANKS!

Draft # 30 by naiko - Yes I like this. However, I'm not so sure about the placement of the words, "Leopold Brothers". You've got the right idea about the agricultural theme, but I would still like to see a covered bridge. - THANKS

Draft # 26 by artguy - Sorry artguy, this is still not what I'm looking for. To get some idea look at the website for a guy by the name of Steven Noble. I feel frustrated that I can't guide you any better than this.

Regarding the new submissions, thank you for working on this project. It is apparent however, that some of these desgns are not in keeping with my design brief. I have sated previously that I do not want anything "cartoonish" and yet, I still am getting cartoon bees. I do not want a corporate or institutional look, The lgo should reflect a floral or farm fresh look. In addition, I have already described the importance of "Bureau County" in terms of its historical and tourist elements.

Drafts 1-7: Thank you for your submissions. Unfortunatley, none of these are acceptable. This lgog must be suitable for use on beautiful honey label. In addition, my design brief specifically says that I do not want anything cartoonish.

This logo should be elegant, but not institutional or corporate in appearance.

Bureau County is rich in agricultural and pioneer history. AMong its landmarks are a small river called "Big Bureau Creek" and several covered bridges. I would like the words, "Leopold Brothers" or "Leopold Bros." to appear in the logo as that name is well-known in the community and very much a part of the county history.

Would you prefer a logo of a bee of some sort?

Draft #1 by Haych Designs - Thank you for your submission. Unfortunately this concept is unacceptable for the following reasons:

    1. Does not conform to my design brief.
    2. It is too modern and institutional.
    3. Not suitable for use on a honey jar label.
