I had a hard time selecting a winner. I shown the drafts to friends, family, collegues and there was always the same two designs that were getting the best critics. So, I decided to choose my first winner as #28 / #29 because it was the logos i personnaly loved the most. The logos from AdenDesign were also very nice and the concept was different, making a house and a chimney with the L so i choose him as an additional winner.
Thank you everyone for your drafts, your efforts and your time.
Thank you everyone for the drafts. I have to show them to some friends and collegues and I will contact designers who made the preffered drafts soon to make final revisions.
Personally, the drafts I prefer are #29#65#54 and #22
#11 : I like the hammer and the square but I would prefer the house over the logo rather than inside the "P". A mix of #3 and #11 would be nice I think. I also really loved the font of #3
#16 : I like that logo which is a little bit different but I would prefer a more stylish font.
Even if I like simple logos with few colors, I would like to see something really different and stylish. Something that uses more colors, even if it doesn't fit with a red background.
I've though about a kind of box or house or cabinet in blueprint with the letters on top and sides.
#6 : I like it with a square making the "L". I preffered the "L" in #5 and #3. If it's possible, maybe an hybrid "L" using original font but marking graduation? #5 : I don't like the tool used for the first "P". It's not enough a common tool.
#1 and #2 : I don't like the way the letters are looking it seem more like "RP" than "PLP". It looks professional but I can't figure that it's a construction company.
#3 : I like that logo. Maybe the "Rénovations" word should be a little bigger as the logo will be on small buisiness cards and bills. Also, I will need a version that is not white to print bills and letters on white paper. I like the little house on top of the logo even if I was thinking about an abstract logo.
First I was thinking about a very abstract logo but maybe it's better to make it more illustrative with a little house or some tools.
I was also thinking about a kind of "blueprint" showing like a kitchen cabinet plan integrating the letters PLP but I can't figure how it can be done.

I like the idea of the little house on top of logos and it was my first idea but I would also like to see some more abstract logos.
I like the logos submitted but I realize that my brief was to much "conservative" and I said too much that I wanted something straigth and "square".
I would also like to see logos with cabinetry or blueprints or boxes containing letters PLP.
Thank you.
