Draft #77 - Can you widen the silver gear and place the name over the top of it (one version in color, and the other in white), opposed to on the outside as it is currently? Also - lose the light glare and make it straight grey/silver. And then try the tagline in 2 lines. High Torque on the first line, and "Gear Reduction Starters" on the second. Thanks.
Draft #89 - I like this reminds me of the "Goodwood racing Circuit" logo ( http://www.mstworld.com/goodwood.aspx ). Take a look at the logo and put my tagline in a similar box.
Draft #90 - place the " .com " below "starters. It makes more sense there.
Draft #92 - Can you make "British Starters" appear as if it is coming out of the gear?
Draft #93 - Leave the gear on the same angle, but put the flag on the other side. (Sorry if my last feedback wasn't clear enough). Lastly, put the " .com " below "starters". Thanks.
Draft #83 - Can I see what the gear would look like all red?
Draft #85 & #87 - Lose the "BS" over the gold gear. Tilt the gear almost flat, make it 3-D, and place a lightning bolt through it.
Draft #88 - Lose the "BS" inside the circle, replace it with a silver gear, keep the blue/red split behind the gear, and then try different drafts with other backgrounds behind the gear (checkerboard flag, Union Jack Flag, ightningbolt).
Draft #71 & #72 - Better, but I would like to see those "legs" pushed out to the sides even more and the open holes enlarged. Also, can you narrow the side legs a bit as they come back to the center? See my website for a picture of an acutal starter (http://www.britishstarters.com/Home.html).
Draft #36 - I like the clean look, but the "S" gets lost at the bottom.
Draft #39 - I like the convertible silhouette. can you increase the size of the font? It gets lost a bit in the colors.
Draft #42 - Better, but i'd still like to see the depth of the gear increased. More like #55 front-most gear, but not quite that much. Also increase size of font to same total height of illustration, or a bit more.
Draft #43 - Don't care for the teal color (read notes below). Also, try closing the ends of the "S" to fully enclose it inside the "B"
Draft #44 - much better. Like the clean look. Can you try a Capital "B" and capital "S"??
Draft #45 - Can you change the inners of the "B to gear shapes? And change the color of the "B" as well.
Draft #46 - London Underground. Nice. Thank you. Can you increase the size of the blue bar and the name/tagline a bit ?
Draft #63 & #64 - Illustration too busy. Darken the red, and shorten the flag.
Draft #67 & #69 - I don't think the 2nd gear adds to the look. Omit.
Draft #68 & #70 - Continue to add depth to gear. (see #55 gear and split the difference). #70 - try a draft without the blue in the gear to show the sides of the inner legs.
Draft #14 - I like the layout. I like the gear inside a gear. Try increasing the gear width. Try giving the lettering a 3-D block look too. lastly, add the tagline across to bottom.
Draft #15 - OK with the green, but don;t like the red ".com"
Draft #16 - I like the use of the B inside of the gear, but too many colors are used in the overall logo.
Draft #17 - Try changing this draft to the red/blue combonation, and change the stripes after the word British to a union jack flag.
Draft #18 & #19 - Better. I like this silhouette. Reminds me of a Jaguar XKE. Not sure about the 2 gears - they look out of place there. Also try some different fonts.
Draft #20 - I like the regal look of the crest. Elongate the crest. Instead of the silver twisted ribbon at the bottom, move the tagline in the gold box to wrap up and under the crest. Move the Union Jack flag to full the full over portion of the crest directly under the silver box containing the company name. No waves in the flag. Across the upper portion of the flag, above the silver box, add a black and white checkerboard (like a checker flag from auto racing)
Draft #21 - repeat the same as above, but for the gold ribbon around the outside, stop the twisting where it goes from vertical to a 45 degree turn (at the 8:00 position) - in this portion type "High Torque", and then from the 6:00 position, across the 45 degree angle to where it goes vertical again, type "Gear Reduction". Then continue the twisting up to the end. I hope this makes sense.
Draft #23 - proportions don't look right (front and back of car) also turn the nose down - this version reminds me of the nose of a boat. Thanks.
Draft #24 - Can't read the gold lettering over the silver. Change color. Also, omit BS from the top. Replace with "High Torque" at the top, and "Gear Reduction" at the bottom. Also please increase the amount of black area showing between the outer silver ring, and the inner 'flange" with the 8 black dots and the 2 screws. As for the illustration of the starter itself, elongate the section with the 2 screws (at the 9:00 and 6:00 positions) to go outside the overall ring, crossing over the outer silver ring where the tagline is. Please leave the four black circles at the 11:00 and 5:00 positions. Omit the 2 screw heads and leave the holes empty. This is what the mounting flange looks like for our "2-bolt" starters. Reduce the size of the gold gear in the middle and also reduce the tooth count to show more black around it. I need to be able to embroider this logo onto work shirts and fear the details of your draft will get lost when sewn.
Draft #25 - Again, can't read the gold lettering inside the illustration. See above for guidance.
Draft #26 - Don't like the font used for the company name. I do like the black line that is within the outer silver ring. Try incorporating with #24 suggestions.
Draft #27 - Still not enamored with the font. Interesting use of the crankshaft and pistons, leading to a firey exhaust, but it does not make a customer think of a starter motor.
Draft #28 - Interesting illustration. Try moving it around (above, larger and behind, after). Maybe place a "B" inside the triangle?
Draft #29 & #30 - I like #30 better of the two due to the gear. Can you widen that outer gear to give it more depth. Next, add a second, smaller gear in front of it with the "B" (either flat or 3D) sitting on that?
Draft #31 - I like this illustration, but again, try adding depth to the outer gear teeth and to the 3 arms leading to the center. Try it with the blue inside the 3 arms and without. The font looks good with these drafts.
Draft #32 - Can you make the flag straight-edged as opposed to the scalloped angles? I like the font in each of your drafts submitted.
Draft #33 - Flat-end the flag as requested above. Can you add a 2nd larger gear behind the first gear in one redo? Also, can you try a version where you reduce the size of "British" and move it to the right to start over the letter "t" or "a" in starters, place a smaller union jack flag directly over the letter "S" in starters, and lastly, move the gear closer to the company name?

COLOR UPDATE
After further consideration, please don't constrain yourselves to the colors I requested. The only color range I do not like is teal, aqua marine, and the like.

Draft #5 - I like the illustration of the starter head-on. I also like the color combo. Please try some different font looks and positions. For one of the drafts, try increasing the width of the outer silver ring, and arc our tagline "High Torque Gear Reduction Starter" inside of it.
Draft #6 & #7 - Try offsetting "starters" to the right a bit, and instead of their current placement, place 2 gears behind the letters "B" and "S" and interlock the gears. Also try using gears with fewer teeth. Lastly, do some versions with tagline across the bottom.
Draft #8 - Instead of the blue mark fading in, make it a British Union Jack flag fading in. As above, try using gears with fewer teeth.
Draft #9 - Car silhouette is too modern. It makes me think of a Dodge Viper. I cater to english cars from the 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's. Think convertibles too: Jaguar XKE, C-Type, Austin Healey 3000, MGB, Triumph TR3 outlines.
Draft #10 - I like the large red arc. Again, auto shape is too modern. Maybe try stacking a TR3 outline in front of an Austin Healey 3000 outline, in front of an XKE, in front of an old '60's Land Rover Series truck. Let me know if you need more clarification on this.
Draft #11 - Don't like. Looks like the silhouette of a Porsche 911 Coupe.
Draft #12 - 1.Keep the larger of the two gears. 2.Make the car silhouette a convertible. 3.Enlarge the car and sit it over "British Starters" as if the words were written down the side of the car. 4.Incorporate the red arc as the rear end of the car (similar to rear of an XKE or Austin Healey 3000). **Lastly, try this same look with the car pointing in the other direction, and add the tagline "High Torque Gear Reduction Starer" across the bottom.
Draft #13 - Nice start. Like the others, the car silhouette is too modern for whom I am catering. Try making the gear teeth a bit more "blocky". Also try one with the gears interlocking, and another with the blue gear down at @ the 4-5pm position (as on a clock face).
Draft #1. - Try some different car shapes. I like the colors and their placements. Luke warm about the font.
Draft #2 - I like how you intertwine the two words, but I do not like the font. Not sure what you are conveying with the multicolor swoops over the "S"
Draft #3 - I like the use of the gear. Can you try something with 2 gears (a larger "flywheel" gear engaging into a smaller "starter" gear perhaps? Maybe change up the font a bit?

Draft #81 - I like the flag and strips inside the oval, but do not like the "wings" - too modern. Can you try some different wing variations?
Draft #82 - Much better with the "legs". Can I see what a line drawing version would look like for t-shirts?

Draft #47 - same as #45
Draft #48 - I think the B gets lost. Don't like.
Draft #51 - Feels more cartoonish than your #44. Like #44 better.
Draft #52 - Try the same with a wider black outline, and an outline of the star.
Draft #53 - Not feeling it.
Draft #54 - I like its simplicity. Change the teal arc to darker blue, and a version with the gears in black.
Draft #55 - Loose the car, and put the rest in an oval?
Draft #56 & #58 - I like it. Try British over the top, Starters around the bottom, and the tagline flat across the bottom.
Draft #57 - Don't like.
Draft #59 - Don't like.
Draft #60 - 1.try centering the "B" as opposed to off to one side. 2.Try enlarging and placing the illustration directly behind the text.
