  My interpretation of what you are envisioning has effectively been presented conceptually over a x100 already. However, in the initial stages the idea appears to have been eliminated. Hence the confusion.
  
  I'm completely new to this site and all I can say is WOW…almost close to 700 submissions.

  Hi everyone,
  
  We have not been checking the comment section on the main page. Sorry about that. Heres a few things that we saw from the drafts so far.
  
  1) an oval shape logo with concept name enclosed. A picture of a leaf within the logo is desired.
  
  2) what we meant by veggie grill comment was the colors. We do not want a version with identical colors given to letters as used by veggie grill
  
  3) we also want a version with the name on one row with a picture to the left of the name.
  
  4) please do not use pictures such as forks, spoons, knives, salad bowls, fruits, other vege pics if not a leaf.

  Could you please provide some more feedback.
  Your original brief requested a Symbolic/Abstract contemporary mark. It appears that the preference is for a Wordmark Logo or Emblem Logo (logo enclosed in a shape)? If you could provide feedback on this it will give designers a clearer idea of what you are imagining for your logo and in return you will have a design that is truly what you want.   i'm also unsure about this comment "We do not want our logo to look like the Veggie Grills logo with similar colors" - could you clarify PH - is it my understanding that you don't want want the logo to look anything like veggie grills and don't use the same colours - or is it opposite -

  I would like to see some versions with the picture on the left side of the rest name so its all in one row. Also can i see versions with the word 'salad' somehow included in the picture while leaving the word 'republic' on its own. Thanks.

  1. no usage of 'stars' or 'tomatoes' or 'salad bowls' for logo picture.
  2. don't like red and green combination for color as the main color theme.
