We are seeking a high brand logo for a liquid coffee product to consumers. Our product brand name is Do Cofe. It stands for ‘Degree Coffee’, a term often used for high-quality coffee in the filter coffee tradition. The letter after D is not alphabet 'o' but raised symbol of Degree. The product is liquid coffee to be packed in transparent pet bottles in 20 ml to 2000 ml in different packaging sizes of round shape with labels wrapped around it. It should be designed in vector format, to ensure that it can be scaled to any size and should be able to work across a variety of mediums and applications.

We observed many of the brand names in this sector and other retail products are generally in single colour (mostly in white) in a contrasting background. Our preference would be for two colours unless the creativity demands more colours. Pictorial representation is quite minimal.

The brand design should be simple that allows for easy recognition and allows the brand name to be versatile and easily memorable. The brand design must stand out when the product is on store shelf and should work in just one colour too. It is a brand logo and not a corporate logo and therefore the emphasis should be more on the brand name clarity with good font, simple colour and recall easiness. We have some idea on the first letter of the logo, ‘D’ to be shaped in the form of a coffee cup and seamlessly integrated to the name (picture could be provided). The word ‘Cofe’ should be in a very good font clearly visible at a distance. The only minimal pictorial representation we envisage is for the expression of ‘Degree’ in an innovative form. It could be the raised degree temperature symbol following ‘D’. ‘Degree’ alternatively means certification. We would like the word ‘Degree’ to be spelt out but in a subtle form (not dominating) and ideas are welcome. |
