I like draft#18 overall, but colors don't work for me. And minor details with the globe.
The original (draft#18) gold/yellow was perfect, it was the green/olive that did not work for me.
The gold crown and helmet (with gold/yellow drapery) was elegant, but the bronze (draft # 26) mutes them.
With draft #26, keep VISION banner(with gold/yellow #18 color) in current place and enlarge the globe a little more and center it in the middle of VISION, but don't allow it to touch crown or shield.
Basically, I like your draft #18 without green/olive color, oversize globe between crown and shield, oval shield, color of bottom banner. And you made changes with draft #26, but also changed the things I liked.
I would suggest a different shade of gold/yellow for the shield and drapery behind the shield. Keep total number of colors to a minimum, and focus on elegance as you did with #18. (you can also refer to colors on site) The color of shield and globe looks beige.
On draft #26, the Vision banner and size of text are very nice and the bottom bronze banner are perfect.
One final thing, if you decide to make changes and time permits - please change PRINCIPLE TO PURPOSE font to Monotype Corsiva and add very small TM after PURPOSE.
Thank You
Nigros,
That's very nice, however, I would suggest the following.
1. VISION should be attached to the middle of globe alone with CHARACTER and INTERGRITY flowing freely in the air off the globe (a banner would work and VISION text should be larger of the three, and). So you can raise the shield higher and make larger (it can be partially covered by the drapery (vision removed as stated above).
2. The globe could be raised higher and made smaller, and the crown and helmet should be below the VISION/CHARACTER/INTEGRITY banner. And LIFE CHOICE (associated with crown) and BEST EFFORT (associated with knight) should be below the crown and helmet respectively (no sideways reading). You can stack LIFE CHOICE and BEST EFFORT if necessary (e.g., LIFE on top of CHOICES). Also, a better or more distinguish knight's full face helmet (doesn't quite look a knight's helmet). A better picture/representation of the North American continent would be nice.
3.I don't like the oval shield and white background. I like the outside trim of it, but would prefer draft #17 as stated in the brief and a larger shield with larger text( PRINCIPLES TO PURPOSE should be the dominant text). The color of the land on the globe and inside of drapery doesn't work for me, a lighter tan/brown or gold color. And that color could also be the background of shield.
4. Finally, the color of the last/bottom banner should be one of the colors already used (I like the bronze used for PURPOSE).
Bella, you used the two important elements from my brief (shield and drapery).
The items that should have the greater emphasis (Larger Text) are Vision , Principles To Purpose, and Purpose (below the shield on drapery).
Bella, I suggest the following which coincide with my brief:
Drop the drapery down from the Earth/globe and attach it to a half crown (left side- your left)/half knight's helmet(right side) above the shield (crown/helmet can sit on top of shield). The words LIFE CHOICES from the crown side and BEST EFFORT from knight's side should be written on part of the drapery attached to crown and helmet (see draft #3 & #2); Thus, there should be no vertical text (reading sideways).
Please do not include a face with the crown, because it should be none gender specific ; therefore, you should shrink the size of crown/helmet just enough to distinguish the two and, the drapery can come straight from the crown and helmet, and then drape down, thereby, allowing the text(LIFE CHOICES and BEST EFFORT) to read from left to right. I would suggest a full/large head crown, because it would probably line up better against a full face helmet (see draft #2 crown).
The shield should only house the words PRINCIPLES To PURPOSE (large script text). This should be the largest text, and I think center text as you did works best, instead of offset described in brief!
Take the banner(same color as draper draft #7) from the bottom of shield and move it up to the globe with the lower part of the banner stretched across the globe and PTP replaced with VISION. And the ends of the banner off the globe and words replaced with CHARACTER (Left side- your left) and INTERGRITY (right side) with smaller text than VISION.
Also, consider attaching the globe to the crown/helmet with a short pole or something to keep everything unified as a unit.
The word PURPOSE (Same size text as VISION) below the shield on the bottom of inside drapery.
A long banner (same color as draper draft #7) stretched below the drapery across the bottom with the words "Where Principles Lead To Fulfilling Purpose".
All black text for readability since logo/monogram will appear on a variety of things.
I have also increase the prize 50% ($750) and extended contest for additional 3 days. Good luck and I certainly look forward awarding the prize if my requirements are met.

"but the bronze (draft # 26) mutes them": which bronze?
"With draft #26, keep VISION banner(with gold/yellow #18 color)": which gold/yellow? I have at least three
"Basically, I like your draft #18 without green/olive color": green/olive color??? DO you mean the internal of the mantle? It is dark maroon
"The color of shield and globe looks beige": It is a gradient of TAN, as you suggested.
Thank You for your prompt answer, if not I can only try to understand.
