  Also, just to provide some ideas, the following ThinkStock images would probably relate to the book fairly well: 148986696, 147027849
  
  Other topics covered include things like amusement park rides (things that spin, roller coasters, etc.), all of which might make interesting front cover items.

Sales into this target range many times are dependent on a catchy cover, so think bright, fun, and colorful for this age range.
