  Establish a logo for a technology company that specializes in real estate solutions. The company makes next-generation mobile solutions, that are data-rich, leveraging a convergence of core technologies (cloud, social media, mobile, geo-location, databases, analytics).

What goes into building the products is complex technology, but the products themselves are easy-to-use and intuitive.

We are very much going for a marketing positioning of the Apple, Inc brand. In other words, its not about the technology, its about the uses of the technology that really matter.

In our case, real estate is an industry largely based historically on customer service, as well as market expertise. While there is now vast amounts of research data available to consumers on the internet, homes are bought and sold using real estate agents who differentiate based largely on local market knowledge and customer service….and increasingly technology-based customer service.

So we’re focused on making the professionals in real estate technologically relevant and savvy during the home buying/selling process, which mostly takes place in an anytime/anywhere mobile environment.

  Since Blue is in the name, the color blue should play a part. Darker is better, though we are open to different ideas (friendly/approachable is more important than dark/mysterious - however it needs to still feel sophisticated).

The logo should be strong on its own in black and white (for embroidery, for example) but colors that pop are desired.

  We will be building a brand of logos for our products underneath this top-level company brand logo. However, the first thing to tackle is the company logo & brand.

The focus on the company will be MOBILE and TOUCH (but not exclusively - we may build web properties that bring different offerings together - where we do the hard technical things and hide the complexity from the user - and present simple, clean technology to the user)

Here are some things to NOT include:
- Jagged or sharp edges that are not approachable (an example of what NOT to do would be a Monster energy drink, or a tough, wrestling brand).
- Nothing like WIRED magazine look/feel (too self-consciously techy & complicated)
- Nothing like Hip hop or culturally trendy looking
- Not ‘rootsy’ aka earthy, folksy
- Techy overused metaphors (energy, molecules, space, etc)
- Also avoid cliche real estate things like Houses, house outlines, etc (these are overused).
