  I also like #56 a lot - there are small flaws with it, there is a balance issue the colors should split the sphere into hemispheres (cut through the middle) this means that the stars on the equator need to have two colors as well. There is a balance issue between the size of the sphere and that of the font. Font needs to be bigger perhaps.
  
  At this point #45 and #56 are my favorites.

  The colorscheme of #48 should have the tag line with the same size, alignment and type of fonts as #47 also please make the stars with variable size as in #15 (back stars all smaller than front ones). The dot on the first i does not need to be a star (too many things going on).
  
  Finally lets go back to the Biostar name rather than the Biostars one.

  I like the design with the sphere #46 and variations. I may be interested in purchasing the second best choice as well (I will offer about %30 of the amount of the original contest).

  Gave a wrong color for green it should be #5B8C3C;
  
  The sphere for #31 to #33 is an interesting concept.
  
  For #35 the stars still need change, you see the smallest star should be the one that is furthest away - to give the proper perspective.

  I still like #25 the most. The circle needs some adjustments, the stars that are on the far end (behind the text) need to be smaller for the proper effect. Also the bottom of the circle extends a little too far out.
  
  Could you please also add an 's' at the end to read: BioStars

  I like the direction #15 and #16 are taking. The leaf on the i may no be necessary - that also comes from a different design submitted right here so we have to honor that.
  
  Could the stars go all the way around and behind the letters? This would form a full tilted circle. I am not sure if that looked better but it is something I would like to see.

  #2 it has nice features, I would rather have the o or the a turned into a star rather than the i turned into the flask - people that will use the site don't really work with flasks at all (an interesting idea though)
  
  #1 to many features on the star - needs to be cleaner and simpler
