    Thanks for all the submissions, remember earthy is what we are after, not only in colour scheme, but in overall feel (some great submissions have used earthy tones with a burst of bright colours and made it work very well). If you can tie a tree into the lettering or overall design, that would be excellent. Also, we need to have a full band name in the logo and if a separate monogram 'EBT' can be thrown in there too that would be wonderful.

    Really like 80 and 58 maybe for tshirts or something down the road, but at this point for main we're looking for something closer to 89 and 66. We'll private message anyone we're looking to move forward with and are still looking at new submissions with the same kind of feel. Thank you for all the great work!

    We would like the submissions for this project to include an 'EBT' monogram and a longer 'EarthBound Trio' option in related designs as #66 and #67 have offered. We are going to talk about all the designs today and give some feedback. Thank you all for your work so far and keep em coming!

    #33 - this pic is of the john butler trio, not the earthbound trio. Yes, they're an influence & a great band, but we can't have a pic of them in our logo!

    What about having "Earthbound Trio" written amongst the branches of a tree? Or a big "EBT" made from the branches, with "Earthbound Trio" in smaller letters in the roots (or vice versa). The trunk of the tree could be similar to an acoustic guitar, with a knothole in the tree, but with guitar strings across it. Just a thought...

    Thanks everyone! So far, I like how the font in #17 is a bit different...it's still not the font that works, but I like it more than just plain lettering. I also like how the picture has meaning, but it's definitely too busy.

    I'm thinking a tree is probably what we're looking for, perhaps incorporating an acoustic guitar or bass, but not necessarily. I'm thinking of something like a big old tree, something simple, not wispy like in #29 (although it does look nice! It's just not what we're looking for in this design).

    Definitely stick to the more earthy tones with the color scheme. Although the bright colors really make the logo pop & it looks great, it's just not the feel we're going for.

    #6 is nice - it looks too much like a country band, which this is not. #5 is way too country. They're both nice though - #6 can be improved on, it's definitely a good start, though! Thank you!

    #1 is a bit too corporate looking. I definitely liked the idea of having the tree in the logo...perhaps even a stand up bass...but again, it would have to be more organic looking than #1. Keep em coming!

    #3 is completely missing the mark - waaay too feminine, the colors are not at all what we're looking for. Remember - organic, natural, masculine. Thank you.

    Draft #1 looks too much like a landscaping company logo. I like the tree in draft #2 much more, although both logos lack oomph...too simplistic - they don't spark any interest when I look at them. The grey is definitely out. I do like how "Earthbound" is one color and "Trio" is another in draft #2, not split up like in #1. Hope that helps!
