  logoon, your design #109 and all of the corresponding versions are fairly close to #39 by 'jejemon' therefore all have been taken down.

  Draft #8 - We're off track on this one. Let's stick to just the spine, or something different all together.

  To all: These posted designs are on the right track. I'd like to see more metallic or glass or transparent effects. Keep in mind translation to print. Blue is good but maybe some different colors as well.
  
  Draft #6 - Good effects. I like the composition very much. The spine graphics are looking a little like wheat stalks. Maybe you want to re-work that.
  
  Draft #7 - I like the design but it looks too much like DNA and not a spine. Maybe expand on this a bit more and provide more similar concepts.
  
  Draft #5 - I like the x-ray effect. It will not translate well to print in the text, though. You may want to re-submit similar concepts.
