  mnorth, I like the concept of where you started with your design. I don't think it is high end enough, maybe because of the guy. Could you replace the guy with some old hand tools instead like a hand plane, wood mallet, chissle just to name a few. Although I like the wood tone look there is just something about the color that not one thing pops out at you. Could you try different colors and is there a way to get my tag line in the design as well? Thanks.

  I like the text much better. What is the round spot at the botttom left of the logo represent? Can you show the logo in other wood tones that may make it look richer like the lettering. I love the text & color for Artisan but not sure about both lines below. Is there something else that could work?

  I find it very different and interesting. I am not sure if it looks to contemporary for my own personal taste. I think the text goes well with the logo but I think i would rather see a different that has is more elegant. Do you feel that the logo could work with a high end traditional text?
