Markus I was actually just drafting an email asking if you would like to sell your design to me as I'd liked so much. I don't know much about much in the world but I do know that if it doesn't cost you anything to be professional and/or gracious then why not do that. Especially since YAP will cost you in this case about 150-200 dollars.
Markus #57 was exactly what I asked for thank you for a top contender, I'll see what else comes in. I very much appreciate your ability to turn my requests into reality.
Stingrye, like the domed plate a lot! Can you please adjust the colors and font size of Andrew and cooking to something similar to 57, or 76. Tagline also needs to be in a larger font. As for the icons, I think you may be on to something, anyway we can round the edges so the resemble the squares of an app icon on a iPhone or iPad? Also if I'm going to use them they'll need to tell a story. Can you try making the first a Menu, the second a shopping cart, the third a chef knife (with or without a butcher cleaver) and the fourth either a plate with a fork and spoon on either side, or anything else you can think of to represent a meal.
Thank you for your execution,
Andrew
Markus great changes! Quick note, can I see the chef hat in green please. Also the cross member of the A looks off to me somehow can't explain it. Im not in love with the font for Andrew's or the tagline, can we change to something closer to #44. Cooking font looks perfect. The covered plate looks a little 2 dimensional as well, perhaps a gradient or shine light effect on it #7, 21, then 37 are my favorite covered plates 1,2,3. I think a light blue interior of the plate may go well with the blue exterior. Leaf apostrophe looks great.
lastly I like the gradient (think that is what it's called, little lighter at top of letter than bottom) effect from your #35 in Andrews and cooking please put back. Pretty safe to say your in the lead right now. Thank you
EVERYONE
Thanks for your submissions I like the direction this is going, and could be very happy when some of the changes I wrote to Markus are incorporated. Additionally if anyone wants to put andrews cooking inside the covered plate I'd be interested to see if that looks better. Neonlite had the best looking covered plate thus far in my humble opinion.
Thanks Everyone is really looking professional around here.
Alpino, Thank You for your submission,
Please see my comments to Markus in general. I love the way you have the covered plate to the right already. Blue looks a little too deep, and the green a little light. Also I need the cooking to be green and Andrew to be in blue. Apostrophe I'd like to be a leaf in green. Tagline font size is good but would like it straight on the bottom with some utensils, Or a chef's knife as the border. Like the hat colors but the base looks a little fat great positioning though.
Thank You and looking forward to seeing some changes.
Stingrye,
Thank you for your submission, Please see my last comments to Markus if you'd like to revise your design.
Thank you for including the covered plate to the right. Font in Andrew looks a little feminine to me, although I can see how possibly you were going for a leafy look.
Markus thank you for implementing the changes. Alot closer to what I'm looking for. Please make the Andrew in blue, the color blue that is used in #18. The apostrophe I would like to be green and a leaf think grass on a golf course green closer to what was also used in #18. And the font in #30 for Andrew's I would like used please. Also please remove the fork and spoon from the OO's in cooking in #35. The color font for cooking I would like is green, the same grass green used in the leaf above. I think the Fork and Spoon look great, perhaps just make them a darker silver that can be seen. The font size for the tagline is a little small please increase. I would also like the tagline to be in the blue, the same blue requested for Andrew similar to #18's blue. The chef hat shape looks great in #35 can we please drape it to the side slightly like the one in #30. Lastly can you please move the covered plate to the right side of Andrew or on the right of cooking I'd like it to be a little larger and on the right of one of the two rows of text. Thank you very much for your work.
Andrew
Stingrye thanks for the submission. Although it was a neat idea to put the tagline as steam, it is not the most readable, so I need it to be on the bottom of the logo more like #18. Also would like the colors to be for andrews and cooking more like #18 but switched so that the blue is andrew and the green is cooking. Thus highlighting the leaf that will be the apostrophe in andrews. That color blue you used is exactly what im lookng for though thanks. I want the green to be slightly darker and the font of andrew to be a little more like type. Anyway you could put andrews cooking inside the platter?
Thanks again good looking work,
Andrew
Thanks Markus for your submissions. While I appreciate the variation of the theme,at this point I know for certain the way some things should look. I think you have the right scale of font size between Andrews and cooking in #23. I need the background to be white however as that it will be printed and posted online as. The font of cooking is good, but Andrew is too scripty for me. And while the idea is cool of the A handing off the hotplate it needs to be much more prominent, why I asked for it to be right of Andrew or possibly encapsulating the whole name andrew's cooking. The tagline could work over the a but I think it has to be in a more professional looking font and may be best at the base of the logo.
Thanks again
Andrew
Another idea I just thought of is to have everything inside the domed plate. So the bottom horizon of the platter be the base and Andrews cooking inside and then the do meed lid as the top with a little steam coming off of it. Underneath the platter can be the tagline "you'll never cook again".
Thanks
Can we please put a chef hat on top of to the left side of the "a" in Andrew's. I upload an image in the brief. As a idea starter.
Thank you all, for some very good designs.
Neonlite, 2 tone looks great in 21. Please drop the coffee cup good placement but we're not a restaurant. Really like your knives in the first "o". Please change the fork and knife in the apostrophe to a green leaf maybe switching Andrew to blue and cooking to green for some contrast. Also can I please see a rendering with the domed plate on the side of Andrew instead of on top? Can't decide if I like your script font in 21 or Tojinil's font in 18 better. FOR ALL I uploaded a image in the brief as to a good idea of what I'm looking for. THANK YOU ALL
Dynamike, I like your shopping cart rendering the best. But I think in my attempts to get everything in it is getting a little busy looking. Graphically I love your chef knife also but think it looks dangerous or weaon esque hanging out there. For all future drafts I'd like the knife(s) incorporated into the first "o" in cooking. I also think the pan needs to be dropped as it can be misinterpreted as a halo or a rope Laso.
Thanks
Tonjinil,
Thank you for including my tag line You'll never cook again. I hit no on the form accidentally. But want all future drafts to include it. Also would like to see the colors you used in all future drafts please. I also think you have captured the scale of andrew's and cooking. The A looks very sharp in the rest of the logo however.
i see the enlarged image now Dynamike the C in cooking is a little too close for my comfort to the coca cola font. Maybe that should stay a little cleaner closer to #7.
Dynamike thanks for the design I like your fonts the best, anyway you can turn the ends of the letter from utencils into a pot or pan and chef knife? Also think I need to have a menu and a grocery cart in there somewhere as that is part of what I do as well. Awesome progress.
Neolite love the utensils in lieu of the apostrophe, can you please combine 7 and 8 fonts. 8 for Andrews and 7 for cooking. I also prefer the 2 tone platter over the green and black one. Anyway to show a menu a shopping cart and a dinner underneath the platter as that is all the things I do. Maybe incorporate the name as the some and base of the platter lid. Thanks
Sweetcode thank you, I like draft 3 better than 4. Perhaps more art of the font of the name? Maybe the swirl can blend out into a chefs knife on one end and a pan in the other? Also would be great to get a abstract chef bringing a meal on a platter. The business is cooking meals for people in thier kitchen based on a menu customized for them using fresh local (when possible) ingredients. If any of that helps.
