Thank you to everyone that submitted designs. I truely appreciate all of your efforts and hard-work. I wish I could choose numerous logos, but unfortunately I cannot :-(
1) If you have submitted a design with the logo on the left of the lettering OR a logo on the top/center with the lettering below, it would be appreciated if you could please provide both. This will help me visualize how the logo will look on different formats (cards, letterhead, etc.)
2) It would be appreciated if you could also provide me with 1-colored versions (all grey, all white, all black, etc). This will help me vizualize how the design will look in different formats (for watermarks, etc).
*Please see 9, 12, 13, and 76 for examples.
3) I would also appreciate it if you could please provide me with a relatively large design - it makes it easier to view the fine details of each design.
These suggestions only apply to higher-ranking designs.
I want to thank you all for your designs and hard-work; I am very impressed with all of your work so far.
I just want to try and clarify exactly what I am looking for. While I want something that is traditional, I still want something that is clever and bold. Rather than letters/fonts with some type of design added to them, I prefer logos that use artistic/design elements to actually form the letters/logo/etc. I apologize if I am not making myself clear, but it's kind of difficult to explain exactly what I'm looking for. I want my logo to take people a second to figure out exactly what it is....and then they say "OH! I see it now!"
Here are two examples that I like:

FYI: I would also be open to seeing a logo that just uses the letter "A"'...as long as it was bold, traditional, masculine & professional...not too modern and/or generic, just need a strong law firm logo. Thanks for all of your efforts!
I am very pleased by all of the submissions so far! Thank you all for all of your efforts. I have a few thoughts.
1) I am pleased with the logo ideas incorporating the "ALF" - I especially like Design #6-9, #12 & 13, and #22. I would still like to see some other ideas though...even if the letters weren't quite as discernible as long as it makes a nice looking logo.
2) I prefer an "emblem" type of logo...such as #7 & 8 and #21. I am glad Careylin incorporated #6 into #7-9. I would like to see #22's logo incorporated into a circle or something similar (maybe the "square-ish" shape on design #21?) Also, I prefer a masculine logo as well.
3) I still would like to maintain a traditional feel and would like to see some edits to #12 and #13 - I like the ideas but they are a little too modern for what I am looking for.
4) I really like the color contrast of designs #21 and #13...I would like to see more contrast (more black vs. amount of color).
5) I prefer more artistic designs that include some design elements (shading, shadows, separation lines, borders, etc.) vs. plain logo and text. Although I prefer a traditional design, I want it to look polished.
6) I would also be open to other design options...I appreciate designs 10 & 11...so feel free to throw out any other fun ideas you might have. Possibly a Cursive "Andersen" with "Law Firm, PLLC" in non-cursive or incorporating a Courthouse/Gavel/Pillar/Scales into the design? Maybe incorporating an "A" into the front of a courthouse or Scales? Just spit-balling....but it would be fun to see a few other ideas...as long as they are more traditional...
Adystuta: Thanks for draft #1! I really like the addition to the top of the "L" and the "F" to make them appear like courthouse columns! I also like the font selection for the firm name. A few things: the blue is a bit too teal-ish for my liking, but that's an easy fix. Also, the incorporation of the letters "A, L & F" still resembles the word "ALF" a bit too much...would like to see something a bit more indiscernible/abstract. Thanks again!

Again, thank you all for all of our efforts. Please let me know if you have any questions.
P.S. I will also privately message this to all designers who have submitted designs thusfar.
