I like best three (3) fronts and two variations on the same idea for the back.
can you give me these in pairs (one front one back), to best help me visualize it. thanks!

    #124
i like the offset burst of the others better

    #123
i love Front #1 (moon up in the corner)

i like the back #2 a lot but have some changes. need to have alden miller/interior designer somewhere. i think in the white area? i like the idea of dark gray for the name (alden miller), green for the title (interior designer), and all of the other text would be lighter gray.

i am also REALLY drawn to front #2. this looks really good with the white card. i'm torn.

#122 ultimately i realize i want more color.

    #120
-I really like this front as well.
-the website on the other side relieves the text from getting over crowded.
-i don't like the alden miller/interior designer in the center of the burst. maybe this can be moved to the other side of the card with the burst and the website?
-i like how the enlarged burst sort of reads "through" the card by being printed in the same location.
-I would like the green burst with white background for the other side of the card instead of white on blue. not sure on the color of the text, but i think med gray for name, title and website.

I like how #78 works to get a nice size of the logo and have the card information not feel to crowded. however i don't like the way the name is called out.

    I had some ideas.....what about:

change the card to gray background and use the logo with the gray background (colors are less intense).

card info can be done in white
the name (alden miller) would be in the upper right but in bright green. with the title (interior designer) in black or something so it hides a bit.

i'd like to see it with a faint light gray offset image of the logo like you did in #65 because i REALLY like this..... (but this could be too busy)

the background of the back of the card would then be the color of the name (ie. bright green) with just the graphic done in an artful way.

(and as i noted in past posts, maybe a portrait version of card front would be cool, and i'd like to explore the back of the card more but so far i like #65 best for this)

i really like #65 best so far. it is most interesting use of the beauty of the logo.

    can you explore the following:
-front of the card being gray with the color version of the logo
-the back of the card could be grayscale on white, OR in a solid color like the bright green with the graphic in white and/or gray.
-the front of the card as is, feel busy. i like how there is the enlarged screened back version offset where the name and title go.

would it help to try the card portrait? info on top and logo on bottom, so that the words are more separated.

another idea i had for the back of the card was a screened back pattern created by the repitition of the logo with one of the logos in full intensity. perhaps in color.
-then the front of the could stay white and have a single color or grayscale version of the graphic.

please do more in the direction of this card.

    general comments:

for me my logo represents an appreciation for natural materials and textiles. It is a burst of light, a ball of cotton, or a pattern on a ceramic bowl.

i want the front of the card to provide the information and the back of the card to be a beautiful representation of the logo. no text.

i envision this done with a large scale version of the logo (like #65), or with a pattern created by the repitition. it can either be colorful or grayscale. it might be nice to have some asymetry here.

i have not seen any front of the card done in gray background and i think i would like to see this because i realize i really like the way the color version of the logo looks with the gray background.

if there is going to be some shape created by dark and light. it may be nice if the shape some how had more of a shadow of the logo. i think the shape needs to relate somehow.

swishes and two toned waves are not for me.

i like the way the color logo looks on the gray background more than the white, so the front may not be white.

i like the website pulled out of the list of contacts.

most important: front and back business card

    also need:
-envelope: designs should assume solid white background only
-letterhead info layout to upload into word and excel files.
-notecards: business envelope (8.5"x3.75") layout size to be printed on cardstock. Artful imagery is most important. minimal information needed. logo and business name only.

do NOT need: stationary and letterhead that i will have printed professionally. all my regular stationary will be from computer files that i print or email.
