Hi, folks! Please hang tight! We are trying to make a decision as quickly as possible. Our busy season is just gearing up and things are CRAZY! We are hoping to have a decision by Friday.
All - Please don't take my non-response as I don't like your design(s). I have been traveling outside Alaska during this entire process and am just getting back to the state. I am also waiting for the owners to take a look as well to give their feedback.
Draft #46 - really like this concept, but could we either remove the "little" bears, replace with something else or maybe fewer bears? Hard to tell what they are. Thank you!
Great work all! I am still trying to get in touch with the owners to get their feedback, so I may have to extend the "contest" by three days on Tuesday. So, please bear with me.
Draft #12 & #17 - Great! Could we try the blue portions in red? Could we change the font in #17 to the font used in #12? How do you think the mountain would look in gray? Thanks for your hard work!
Draft #13 - Absolutely love the K2/R concept - creative! Is there someway to add movement to the logo, such as adding a plane somewhere? Love the color scheme!
Draft #23 - Great! Could we try making the white bars above and below K2 Aviation red? Is it also possible to maybe make the mountain a little "stronger" by making it a little more pointer in the middle (like Mt. McKinley - one of our premier flying destinations). It would also be neat if we could make the K2 Aviation/Rust's Flying ... interchangeable. One more note - it is Rust's Flying Service (not Service's).
Again, so really fantastic work! I am in the process of trying to get in contact with the owners to take a look as well. I will try and provide feedback on all the logos tonight, but it could be not until Friday as I will be away tomorrow. Thanks again!!!
Draft #10 - I REALLY like! Could we try with the correct type of plane (draft #9 is close) and maybe change the mountain a little - I'm afraid if we try and put the logo on clothing the mountain may be tough to recognize. Great! Thank you!
draft #2 & 3 - Great! What would it look like by putting the Rust's Flying Service in a smaller, black font under the word aviation on draft #2, but keep the tagline like it is in draft #3? Can we make the bear look a little more "friendly"? I'd hate to make our customers think that when we land to view the bears that they are going to get eaten - bad for business - HA!!!!
draft #5 - cool! Could we replace plane with correct plane and try a different font for the K2 Aviation? Under the K2 Aviation in a smaller font could we add Rust's Flying Service and maybe the tagline? If the tagline is added, could you please capitalize the first letter of each word - thanks!!
If you use the tagline, could you write like this Two Great Companies, One Family It was my fault that I didn't capitalize the first letter of each word in the brief - sorry!
draft #8 - Cool! Could we try this logo without the wood background and use a more correct plane? I really liked the line drawing of the plane in draft #1, just the right type of plane (the plane in draft #7 is getting closer).
Draft #9 - I really like! Could we try another logo where we put the Rust's Flying Service where K2 is and K2 where the Rust's name is? Could we then add below the K2 - Two Great Companies, One Family Could I also see the logo in red? The change may not work because of the cool effect on the K.
In the Brief you said that "maybe" one of the two names could be omitted, but I add it, no problem.
The concept of the bear/mountain is purely abstract :)
i'll work on it!
