Design a simple and state of the art logo with a contemporary spirit. Our mission and goal is to provide, maintain and preserve public infrastructure in an efficient and effective manner while promoting a healthy and sustainable environment that supports safe and livable communities. We provide services in the following major categories: transportation (road) infrastructure construction and maintenance, flood control, building inspection and permits; and walkable/bike-able sustainable communities. Our website is: www.acgov.org/pwa/about Alameda County's website is www.acgov.org The logo should include “Alameda County” and can use the PWA acronym, if desired. We are accredited by the American Public Works Association and will be using the APWA accredited logo in conjunction with our new logo. Please consider how any design will look when used in conjunction with the APWA accreditation logo. (We will upload the logo.) |

This logo needs to be sizeable so that it looks good on business cards, letterhead, uniforms, and decals on our vehicles (cars, trucks, heavy equipment). We like some of the logo designs in this contest for Qatar Public Works Authority, specifically #182, #180, #165, #159 and #156.
