• Objective – Develop a logo for Ace Work Boots – a new line of premium work boots featuring the worlds TOP-RATED slip-resistant outsole technology, the SFC V-Grip™ • Deliverable o Full Color and 1-Color Brand Logo in square footprint and horizontal footprint • Consumer Target o Mostly male, 20-40 o Serious industrial worker who works mainly indoors, in need of slip-resistant work shoes due to their hazardous environment o He views his work boots as a critical piece of his personal work equipment and they reflect his commitment to doing good work “If it’s worth doing, it is worth doing right” o He is willing to pay more for boots that can do the job and is accustomed to buying top quality brands (i.e. Red Wing, Wolverine, Timberland PRO) o Substance over style – It needs to be durable and comfortable first. Styling is secondary. • Brand Attributes o Premium o Tough o Comfortable o Safe o Durable • Brand Character – Trusted, Experienced, Expert, Serious o We respect the work that you do and work just as hard to give you what you need and expect from your work boots. The artwork should not connect with anything with playing cards (no ACE of hearts, spades, etc). The V-Grip outsole may or may not be illustrated or encorporated into the ACE wookboot logo. This grid pattern is an exclusive outsole designed for the toughest jobs and will be the outsole for the entire ACE boot line. |
