These scenarios are repeated everyday as family members and caregivers watch and worry about what to do about their aging parents and loved ones. Feelings of anguish, fear, guilt, concern, and indecision can be overwhelming. Who to call, what to do, where to go, who can help me are questions that often appear to have no answer. A Peace of Home is a respected and valuable resource available to help you sort through all your questions and concerns and help you find solutions that will bring you peace of mind. Our service includes a meeting with our Family Resource Coordinator, a professional with over 40 years experience evaluating the quality of care and services being provided in Assisted Living, Independent Living and Nursing Homes throughout North Carolina. Once the level of care for your loved one is determined then our Family Resource Coordinator will complete a detailed review of the ALF/IL /NH facilities in your geographic location. This review includes determining the facility’s regulatory history, current standing with the county/state inspectors, a personal unannounced visit to the facility to assess the care being currently provided to residents, review of staffing levels and a meeting with the facility administrator. This process generally is completed within 1-3 days. Once this assessment is completed the Family Resource Coordinator will meet with you to review the findings and share with you the TOP 3 reviews. At that time, we recommend the family visit those facilities and make the choice that you and your loved one feel most appropriate. Our goal is to provide you and your loved one with as much information as possible so the choice you make through utilizing A Peace of Home will give you, your family and your loved ones the Peace of Mind you deserve. |
