  Finally for today, I mentioned in the brief using the elements of a compass. I should have been more descriptive. With our focus on booking cruises in addition to Disney travel I should have made the point of using the elements of a nautical compass (compass rose). Again, these are just examples. We just want to somehow incorporate the lines of this kind of compass into the 0 of 4950. Below are links to a few:

  One additional note. A couple designs (Nos. 2 & 27) put travel group below the 4950 which is indeed the focus of the logo but we are not sold on just having travel group below 4950. Our original thought was to have everything along one horizontal line but those two designs really opened our eyes to the fact we do not have to think inside that box. We like the fact Nos. 2 & 27 utilized our colour palette as well as took into account our need for the 0 to standout. Again we have some definite ideas on use of colour, gradients, shading and elements but we hope you will approach this project with all of your individual talents.

  I would like to thank the designers who have submitted logo concepts for 4950 Travel Group during the first day the project has been posted. We are looking for something which will be very iconic and set our company apart from competitors. We have marked our favorites from early in the process – both utilized our concept idea of incorporating a compass as well as our requested colour palette.
