Logo for the 24th annual national convention of a professional association of Asian Pacific American lawyers, judges, and law students. The association is the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (“NAPABA”). NAPABA was founded and is currently located in Washington, D.C., although it is national in scope. It has over 60 local affiliates in the U.S. NAPABA’s mission is to promote the advancement and professional development of Asian Pacific American attorneys and also to advocate for increasing the number of Asian Pacific American judges, and to raise awareness of civil rights issues affecting Asian Americans. The venue of the national convention changes every year. The Washington, D.C. affiliate won a competitive bidding process to host the 2012 Convention in the nation’s capital from Nov. 14-18, 2012. We plan to use the logo on all publicity materials, convention tote bag, convention print materials and media, on our website, Facebook, etc. The word "monumental" refers to the famous monuments in Washington DC as well as suggesting the achievements and accomplishments of NAPABA and its members over the years. | ||

The NAPABA logo can be seen at www.NAPABA.org. The logo for the 2010 Convention in Los Angeles (their theme was "Inspire") is here: http://www.napabainspire.org/ The simplicity of this logo was attractive. The logo for the 2011 Convention in Atlanta (their theme is "Sustainability: Renewal and Growth for Today and Tomorrow") is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlDTHbRuABI The logo and website for the DC affilate (APABA-DC) is being updated, so please do not refer to the APABA-DC logo (a black & white image of the capital dome). |
