Vector: Please submit designs without any sort of dropshadow, gradient etc. It is key that the logo is at its best in vector format.

Hey everyone, I just noticed how many messages I had received. Apologies for not responding, I wasn't receiving notification e-mails that you were sending me messages & responding to my e-mails.

Positioning: Let's stick with the side by side approach to the identity.

We've extended the project a bit to enable as many designers as possible to weigh in. Go for it!

Font Selection: Please use fonts similar to one of these 3 submissions: 79, 97 & 100

Removals: No black backgrounds. The color black does not communicate "health", it communicates dark, "video game" and is neither corporate or consumer friendly.

I would like to see each new design be based on what YOU think my brand should look like. Currently it seems like each of are reacting to what you see already posted and that is not the intention of this site. The goal is to see what you come up with on your own, with some loose guidelines from the brief.

Cromox: Not sure who it was, I only see an automated e-mail. Is it possible that Mycroburst monitors this stuff on behalf of customers and made a mistake?

SUBMISSION EXPLANATIONS: Once you upload a design, send me a note with the # of the design explaining your logic around "what the items in the logo mean and why they are there". It doesn't need to be long, maybe a sentence or 3.

    Color comment:

Colors are wide open but which colors communicate "healthy" but not "earth-environmental"?

Which colors resonate with a corporate crowd but are still "approachable"?

Let's explore how we can better communicate health & wellness (without the use of a leaf).

I like the leaf but it does sort of communicate "earth" friendly, enviro sorts of stuff.

#51 & #49 Can we try it with the "lifeline" next to the word (to the left of it)?

The "lifeline" image is somewhat unoriginal so how about a few explorations with how this lifeline could be unique looking (& possibly even simpler)?

#45: Liking this leaf concept, can you do one with just the leaf (or a relevant version of it).

Logo's need to communicate intentions and meaning. I'd like designers to begin explaining the identities they have created. Explain the logic behind your marks/icons and the font color selection.

Ex. #35 is interesting to me. What does the arch above his head represent?

I like the horizontal layouts best.
    Ex: [mark/icon] well metrics

The all lower case is looking cleaner as well.

#14 What is the inspiration for the way the letters bend out? Or is it mainly an aesthetic exploration?

  • June 5, 2011 11:59 PM elevatus

Everyone: I want to note that the logo doesn't have to be WM juxtaposition, I just liked the notion and do think it is worth exploring.

#9: I like it but wonder. Is there meaning behind the WM mark? What inspires it?

(#1) Interesting notion of having the W & M be identical looking (within the mark and/or the words).
