Sorry for the delay on comments. The client travels extensively. Your time and talents are much appreciated.

The client likes the swoosh graphic on drafts #9 and #26. They are similar to another corporation under the parent company. Please minimize the emphasis on the tagline text (Firoz and Najma Lalji Foundation). The logo should be able to stand on its own, or run with the tagline text. Also try a serif font on the tagline text to represent sophistication in the brand.
Apply the same direction to drafts #4 and #25. The client also likes that concept.

    Thank you all.

Thank you for the submissions. Several have been eliminated. Alterations on the remaining will help narrow it down.

I eliminated draft #1 entry because the graphic element felt uncomfortable, jutting out at the top of the design like a flag.
I am interested in the other submissions. The client is actually out of town until Monday so I will meet with him next week and see if we are moving in the right direction. Thank you for the submissions so far.
I like draft #4. It has some nice flair to the graphic FNL that suggests a fine art kind of crafting and finesse, and its tagline below is a traditional font also representing and quality and dignity.
