Killer stuff. I think I am going to go in the "crown" direction. Draft #24 is the front-runner and the text style/font is good to go. I love the subtle volume knob.

The final version will just need the crown to be a little more refined than draft #24 without getting as complex as the other refinements here. We will also need to show the IGM letters inside the crown as it may be used without the entire text.

Again - the final crown style should feel like a hipster brand that could be used for a skateboard company or a boutique line of couture t-shirts. Draft #24 is really close.

Great Stuff. Overall we might be playing up an actual guitar symbol too much and it gets pretty busy and big with 6 strings and a guitar outline. I would love to see some simpler icons explored with the actual magazine name much smaller beneath the logo. Some icon/logo ideas could embrace a volume knob, a skull, a crown or really interesting letter play between the IGM (draft #1 starts to go here). I am okay if "Indie Guitar Mag" almost becomes mouse-type under an engaging logo mark.

Nice work. The 4 star ratings are my current faves. It would be nice to include an actual icon or logo mark (with or without the abbreviated letters for IGM)that could be used with or without the type treatments. For example - what would a simple tattoo look like if there was not room for the entire online magazine name? A Harley Davidson skull comes to mind that doesn't say Harley, but feels like Harley. I'd like to explore a retro rocker skull-type symbol or icon that lifestyle brands like Vans and Chuck Taylor Converse would embrace too.

Nice work so far. I do like the idea of exploring a subtle reference to a guitar or amp volume knob like in draft #4 and the type style in draft #3 is starting to feel good.
