Everyone did a great job. Some did not follow my guidelines, that i needed a logo that i could use on a website, as well as an iphone icon, otherwise, your designs were good. Last minute entries, sorry, you didn't provide me enough time to comment and improve your logos.

JTSCreative: #49 is the winner for providing both a logo and iphone icon. Katrea #52 was a close second choice!! Good job there as well! I have a lot of design work. I will be posting here soon, and hopefully, you will all compete again! Best.

JTSCreative: #46- not digging. #47 EXCELLENT!! The simplicity i wanted. Ok, please post one where you separate the "square" with icon from the text. You already have the "a" as apple/chat bubble in the text. That would be the main logo. The "square" with icon will be the iphone logo. Thanks!!

Since current designs aren't meeting 100% of our needs, i'm loading a sample concept. See who comes up with the best rendition of this, or hopefully, it ignites more creativity. Again, you're not limited to this design and don't take this as such. It's just to illustrate how social + health can be combined in a simple manner. Use the text of Healthper to accomplish this, or create independent icon...doesn't matter.

@PH Thanks for the feedback sir, I really appreciate it. I'll work on it and upload it as soon as I can.

    Thanks again!

PH, did you see apple chat box in #23?

jtscreative #19: I like this execution a lot. Not digging the font. Looks too much like "impact" font. I like the font of #11 or the roundness of #4 but not twitter font. Select another rounder font.

As for design/style, What you have in blue square, with heart and apple is great! Works really well as the iphone icon AS-IS. But for the logo, take that whole blue square with icon shape and merge with the text to create a logo like you have in #4, with White and thin Blue borders. Reason is, our website background is the same color as the logo, so the logo completely blends in, if you don't have the white border/blue thin line around the whole logo.

I also ask you if you could try an apple shaped like a chat bubble as the icon, keeping everything else the same as my above description. We are close.

#18 is matching a case, as per your request. please feedback on PM. regards.

  • December 9, 2010 5:14 AM katrea

yes, #9 the heart shape is apple in heart shape. and the bubble is symbolizing community / social-gather..
    I'll make some more variations..

supri #17: font is good. not color, and lost as to what's the message of the symbol? Not speaking health to me, and 'social', is very subtle.

cruser: #13 to #15- don't make things unreadable. And the apple for letter A appears forced. If you can't clearly come up with a "a" looks like an apple+quote bubble, then separate the icon from letters, like you did with #16. But with #16, it's too generic. Need more creativity.

jtscreative #11 and #10: don't go too far away from your original design of #4. Reiterating, try different versions of apple and quote bubble or other social media icons. Make sure the icon itself (without the words healthper), can stand on its own. Your design #4 also has a side effect (not sure you intended it), but the overall logo looked a little like a KEY. Which is fine. But final logo may or may not contain that 'subliminal' message.

katrea #9 and #8: "+" sign in quote bubble, while good in execution, the mark is too generic. Let's get a little more creative.

#9: like the heart shaped (i'm assuming an apple?) Could be taken for a strawberry. Maybe more distinction needed? Then, not sure what all the bubbles around it are about? Are those people in a social community? Maybe too many bubbles? Combination / variations of apple + quote bubble or other social media signs are a great direction. Try your creativity in that direction. Font of #9 is better than #8.

jtscreative: #4 is best so far - some ideas for refinement:
    - stay away from the "twitter font"
    - try versions where letters of "healthper" are NOT used as other symbols (like the "a" in #4) and focus on the creation of an independent mark
    - take the basic mark concept in #4 and refine it. the people do not distinguish when all the same color; discard the "a" and focus on just an apple, potentially a apple/heart combo - be creative.

ok, I will remove the cross and go to give social media message. regards, cruser

Sorry cruser #5, #6, #7. You have 3 different things going on in the logo, not sure what to notice. Apple symbolizes 'taking care of your own health' "apple a day, keeps the doctor away". Then, the '+' symbolizes the doctor and hospital. Completely the contrary to the apple. And leaf is "wellness", meaning, you practice everyday wellness (exercise, eating right etc). Having so many separate messages isn't consistent, besides, you're missing the social media message, the main one i requested.

Baburao #2: I have seen that symbol with leaves before somewhere. Not sure where, maybe fotolia when i was searching for examples for our logo. Remember, i need an iphone/ipad compatible web 2.0 style logo. Your symbols have to comply with that. This logo would look too awkward for an icon. Keep trying.

jtscreative #3: too literal. be more creative. Read my brief. Try making the "a" an apple that appears like a quote bubble, using the stem of the letter "a"

jtscreative #1: great first start! Like the overall style of the logo and colors. Symbols are too generic though. Man and "+" symbol...appear to like the icons you see in some systems where you "add a person". Try different symbols. Another concept is trying an apple with a leaf from the "a" of the Healthper. Font is good. It's not absolutely necessary to incorporate the slogan in the logo.
