Thank you everyone for your input! We really enjoyed everyone's concepts and creativity. Unfortunately, there can only be one winner. Congratulations, Kamalovs.
We have more work, so there's more opportunities coming.

We will be waiting for any last entries and then award a winner in 2 hours. Thank you to everyone involved.

Very cool. What about a smaller version of the black, orange and red blocks for the favicon? Just the blocks (no grid or anything else is needed). The favicon would be something very simple - matching the black, orange and red blocks though...
Project Holder
1] Thanks for such a quick response. Can we see something small, too? For example, we'd like to put the blocks as our website's favicon:
http://mustech.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/wikigraphicfav.png

1] I'd like to get a smaller, black and white version of draft #81 (just like draft #84 and #85) for comparison. Is that possible.
2] Excellent work on draft #84 and #85. It's really anybody's game right now. We will spend the last few hours deliberating so that a winner can be announced quickly.

1] We like #74 (the 2x2 design better than the 3x3).
2] Can you add to #74, 4 more little squares that are "free falling" like they appear to be in #69, #70, #71?
what do you think? should i go back to using 2 by 2 cubes instead of 3 by 3?
Project Holder
This really is excellent work. Couple questions about Drafts #76, #75, #74, #73...
1] These concepts are great and are along the right idea of what we'd like, but didn't QUITE hit the mark (probably because I didn't describe it all that well). Let me see if I can describe it a bit better:
Look at this image: http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRt_rEN61sZd_E3fmkW5SE9_ah_Y9_IpQlsnchVsAf3e79j5CbUqA
Imagine someone taking the a few of the the cubes on the top row and a few of the cubes from the second row (literally just taking their hand, reaching out and grabbing a handful of the little cubes and removing them from the picture. Once these little cubes are removed, visualize what remains of the block as a WHOLE block instead of it broken up into separate pieces. Now, take the little blocks that were removed and imagine dropping them back into the rest of the block (the WHOLE block that remained).
This block is broken up into a 3x3 cube - instead of a 2x2 cube like yours is in the picture. We're fine with a 2x2. But can we get the concept described above? See what I mean? It might be a little difficult...but this would look very sharp.
Thank you.

1] Can you make the design concept in draft #71 just a tiny bit bigger?
2] Also, in draft #71, the blocks have a nice glossy look to them, but can you make them a little less "glossy" looking. Just a little though.
3] Can you make the top of the tallest block in draft #71 look like the the cubes that are falling into are not already a part of the block? For example, See how the orange block is broken up in draft #59? We thought it might look cool if the top of the red block in draft #59 wasn't all there yet - and the little cubes that are falling into it would actually make a complete block. This is harder to explain than I thought. Let us know if you need more clarification.
4] In draft #71, can you remove the little square on the grid that's farthest to the left? It looks like there's one little square that's just hanging out there by itself...looks a bit strange. The rest of the grid in #71 is great.
CH says "Draft #59 shows a perfect 3D view" about my design - you copy that;
CH says "We like the grid in #58 best" and asks me to redo it - you copy that...
Good job being creative! Keep it up! Maybe next time i will send my designs to you before posting them here, you know to make your creative process easier.
i just got back and saw your comments. thank you. i will work on those and resubmit, but probably tomorrow.

Out of curiosity, what are the deliverables for a contest like this? For example, what do I get once this is finished (besides the actual design). For example:
We'd like the finished product in a few different formats (.gif, .jpg, .png, .PSD and .ico) in a few different sizes.
Will that be possible?
Project Holder
Please experiment with the grid in draft #58. We like it. Can you put a few drafts out there with the same grid - but different amounts of it?
Tips for the Future: Putting 1 idea out there is great. But putting multiple drafts of the same idea (but changed up a bit slightly) is what will win you competitions.

Hi Everyone,
Good job to everyone involved here. We at CompuProof are really enjoying this and hope you are, too. Looks fantastic. It's hard entering competitions - especially with customer feedback involved at the same time. As time gets closer to the end, things start winding down and the competition gets more difficult as key elements are identified from concept to the next. Once a concept is out there, presented and the customer likes it - as far as I'm concerned its fair game. I think that's fair. Everyone has had a chance to review ALL of the feedback and continue on their own concepts - or create something totally original.
azerty123 has done a great job with reading, our feed back and interpreting it into visual design. Maybe s/he has worked a little bit harder or faster to do so (that's besides the point) - but we have actually asked for THAT specific grid (in Draft #30) to be used. We like it.
A bit more:
1] Draft #59 shows a perfect 3D view. It looks like the audience is looking from a higher viewpoint; looking down a bit on the object...instead of directly at it. EXCELLENT!
1.a] The black box should be the back one. See how, at a quick glance, the small orange block (behind the black one in the middle) gets lost? It's almost not even noticed.
1.b] The block further in back should be solid (not broken up). So should the middle block. The tallest block (in the front) is the one that should be broken up with smaller cubes looking like they're falling into it. Trust me, I know these sound like picky little details, but to someone who understand charts and graphs in my area of business, this will make a lot of sense. That's really what we're looking for - someone to say, "What a smart logo!" ...because, then we feel like we had a part in it, too. ;) Even though you guys have done all the work. ha!
1.c] We like the grid in #58 best! But in that draft, it's a bit too much. We like it in the back...but think it makes things look a bit too busy by putting so much of it in the front.
2] While Draft #59 does show the perfect 3D view we like, it's missing a lot of the other little details we have already asked for. Now that we can see what the tag line "Proving the Existence of Quality" (as shown in Draft #57) looks like, including the tag line is an ABSOLUTE MUST. Can we have some more space between it and the word "CompuProof", though? Maybe align the tag line to the bottom of the logo? It looks a little too close together for our taste.
3] Excellent work in concept #43! Very original. Could we get a tag line?
4] We really like how concept #57 shows the "CP" we asked for. However, it looks a little out of place on the logo itself. Draft #56 is nice because it kind of looks like a watermark - but maybe include it in front of the tag line like so:
"CP Proving the Existence of Quality"
All of them are great, folks. We're looking for something to blow us away this next round. We're approaching the end so let's see what kind of creativity everyone has!
We have a good idea on the colors now. (Thank you) We'll get back with you on the colors. Still deciding that one.
At CompuProof, we are trying to give the best feedback we can by stating what we like (referencing the specific draft to do so) and directing it towards everyone. Even though this website does allow customer feedback, it allows EVERYONE to see it...and I believe this has been a fair competition and hope you guys can agree.
Thanks again!
-CP
I will work on the amendements, although there's a slight problem here :
Me, nor samwoofer can use each other's concepts, it will be impossible to combine those two elements as they are right now. I can combine a C and a P, but not the way he did. (I hope samwoofer will have the same behaviour I have).
So I will try to merge all those ideas but without stealing other designers work. Hope you understand this, ethic is really important :)

1] The image (logo) in draft #38 is exactly correct for this concept. Solid square blocks (#34, #35, #38) is what we like - not the rounded blocks (#36, #37). Also, we really like the lighting effects on the blocks in #38 better than we do in #34. Excellent turn-around time and GREAT work here! Thank you so much for this. A couple more ideas with this same concept.
1.a] Our company would like the blocks #38 and the actual "CP" logo concept in draft #40 combined. Who can do this first?!?
1.b] Also, now that you threw the green in there - we like it better than the orange, actually. Is there any way you can provide 4 or 5 concepts with the colors of the blocks switched around? We like the black block in the back - because we feel if another color (i.e., orange) was in the back, it would get lost. Black is a good background. So maybe (left to right): black, green, orange; black, orange, green; black, orange, red; black, red, blue; black, blue, orange; black, orange, blue; etc. We can't make up our minds on what colors we like best. We really enjoy the green... They are all so good. Could you put a few more up for us with the colors changed around (I hope that's not too difficult)?
1.c] Instead of aligning "CompuProof" with the center of the logo...move it a bit more towards the top...and put the following tag line underneath it and align it to the right:
"CP" + "Proving the Existence of Quality"
For the "CP", try to incorporate the "CP" concept in draft #40.
2] We really like the grid in #30, also. Is there anyway we can get all of this wrapped up into a single concept? I know this is kind of merging several ideas...but this is what we like.
A BIG thank you to everyone involved here. You guys have really done a fantastic job!
Regards

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK:
1] Draft #26 has the lettering "CompuProof" just right! The "C" and the "P" are SLIGHTLY larger than the rest, but not too much larger. This is perfect. Solid colors for the letters (maybe black instead of gray) is what we're looking for (like draft #11, #26, #30 and #4). The lighting affect (or whitening affect) as shown in #21, #28 and #28 is fine on the actual picture - but NOT on the word "CompuProof". We'd like the letters to be solid colors with no lighting affects added to them.
2] #25 and #28 really show the business concept of continually adding small pieces over time and GROWING a quality product - which is EXACTLY what the business is all about. A couple comments to get this concept visually PERFECT:
2.a] The actual blocks (shown in #25 and #28) are especially nice, however, they should look like #24 in terms of left to right, shortest to tallest. #25 and #28 show the blocks left to right, tallest to shortest.
2.b] #24 is ALMOST perfect, but it shows the blocks going left to right, FRONT TO BACK. Can we try this left to right, going BACK TO FRONT? Back to front would be ideal.
2.c] Finally with this concept, the smaller cubes being "dropped into" the larger blocks again shows a real-world concept of continually adding smaller quality pieces to the WHOLE to get a larger quality product. However, the little cubes should only be added to the tallest block - not to all of them. Also, remove the gray "grid". Not quite sure where that's going - but it looks a little awkward.
2.d] Experimenting on this design with different colors would be GREAT!
3] We really enjoy the "CP" concept in Draft #4. Can we expand on that somehow and fit that into the design also?
4] The logo in Draft #11 is stellar and very original. Also, the gray grid in draft #30 is exactly what we're looking for. Remove the black x-y axis lines and keep expanding on the gray grid. Also, try manipulating the blocks around in Draft #30 (left to right, back to front - things like that). Just to give us a different view point.
5] Draft #33 and #23 are original and we like this, although it isn't clearly showing any real-world concepts for our business. Thank you for the ideas, though.
Thank you everyone! Keep up the good work.
