Arietta's ship is a trace of The Pirate Bay's logo.

Good work on #66. Only a few hours left - still not decided on any of the designs. Please continue to submit your ideas. Thanks again!

Draft #64 by lucky7 is a derivative of #56 and variation by Arietta, therefore has been taken down.

Arietta - We like #56 quite a bit. Can you make "Calico" and "Island" the same color, preferably the darker color? Any chance of using one sword from your #57 and curving it to make the "C" in Calico? Thanks!

Souljaboi - Thanks for #52. We like the simplicity but feel that the figure is too generic and too cartoon-like. Thanks!

Lucky7 - #46 is one of our favorite. We like the "Calico Island" font and sword idea better than the somewhat generic ship above it. Any ideas on something more detailed / specific than the ship? Or maybe a more "pirate" looking ship? Thank you.

Arieta - good work on #44. Can you remove the tan background and blow-up the logo to a bigger size? Also, we are not a huge fan of the font used on the "Calico Island". Can you make it more unique / antique looking? Thanks!

Cliffy - Good detail on #54 but the name is hidden. Can you re-work the figure to incorporate the the name better? Maybe remove the circle and pink background and put the name in a more prominent position? THanks!

shopatu - Thanks for your efforts and time in preparing the logos. #41 and #42 are too busy for us. One detailed pirate symbol / boat / skull etc., along with the word marks in a creative font is what we are after. Some color would be helpful too. Thanks and good luck!

Lucky 7 - We are getting a good response from the "Calico Island" font and sword in #17. We would like something different above the name, however. The pirate flag is not unique enough. Please try to use the font and words with a different image or even the boat without the pirate flag. Thanks!

Lucky7 - #32 and #33 are good. Can you change the swords to not look so much like ears on the skull? Can you show me what #32 would look like without the oval around the "Calico Island" text below the figure? Also maybe a skull profile facing left with the company name to the right of it, stacked and justified, might look good. Just a thought. Thanks!

Giovanni - I like #36, but really need some color somewhere in the logo. Maybe in the banner? #35 still hides the name "Calico Island" too much. Something closer to the original design - I like the color and shape of the logo...?

Lucky7 - we like #14 also, but the Jolly Roger looks too cartoon-like. If you can keep the font and next text and make the pirate figure more masculine / skull like it might work for us. Thanks.

AriesDesign, thanks for the message and the design. It definately has all the elements we want. We are afraid it is a bit too busy and loses the Calico Island name. I would suggest losing or reducing the palm trees and keeping the banner and skull with maybe the skull moved to above the banner? Any ideas to make it more simple?

Lucky7 - We like #21. Any way you can remove the Jolly Roger from the boat and make the calico island a bit bigger (my removing one or both of the skulls?) and maybe more of an antique feel. The sword or two swords might be moved to the curved bottom section? thanks!

Giovanni - I like #24. Can you make the name "Calico Island" pop a bit more? It gets lost in the rest of the graphic. Also, can you post one without the skulls on the side? I like the idea, but it might be a bit busy / complex for what we are after.

    Thanks!

Lucky7 - I like #9. Good work. A few suggestions - the Jolly Roger looks a bit too cartoon like. The backdrop shape appears a bit too much like a baseball diamond. I like the colors and font. Would be cool to have a couple of mean pirate skulls rather than the boat or maybe a more masculine looking boat without the jolly roger. Just some thoughts. Thank you!

Geovanni - Great work on #5 we really like it! Anything in that style, maybe with a pirate skull would be great to see. Good work.

Cliffy - #7 is a bit too busy and cartoon-like for us. The name is also not prominent enough. But thanks. - jsr914

Thank you for work in creating and submitting the designs. We like #3 by lucky7 the best for its simplicity. However, we were hoping for something a bit more pirate-centered and less tropical. Also more masculine and less cartoon-like. Please see the logo for a different company, found on the home page of at www. calacas (dot) com, with pirate faces, text. We like this concept and font style. Thanks again.
