We want to create a logo for a new children's clothing business we are setting up. We have decided to call the business 'Woof' (as in the noise a dog makes when it barks) and want to have a dog as our logo. We have a family pet dog (Molly) who is loved by the children in the family and we thought it would be good to link the brand to us in this way.
We are planning on using the outline of the dog (logo) on the jumpers we produce or as the labels – so the shape needs to be fairly simplistic – perhaps like an icon. We are looking for something bold and cute – that will appeal to children but has a strong design element that will appeal to their parents too. We are looking for a logo that is simple and could work in a number of colour ways.
We know that we want the outline of a dog and the word 'Woof' somehow connected to it – the rest is up to you!
We are also need a cartoon of the dog which is more detailed than the outline and could use more colours. Our 'logo dog' will be a character who is known as 'Woof' and we are thinking he/she will appear on the website etc and will appeal to children.
We would like something bold, simple and that will work as a silhouette our outline possibly and can work in different colours. It will need a transparent background so it can sit over coloured backgrounds.
We could possibly include the URL in the design www.woofkids.com, but this is not essential.
