    #60 and #80 look identical.

We are going to need an extension... I did not realize it was such a short contest. I meant for it to be at least two weeks.

I would like to see more house/roof top on #60.

Please eliminate the "ears" on #73 and #75... the soundwaves on the sides.

    Thanks!

Also... going forward, can we use our background color for all the backgrounds... or place the logo on our background color.

    #1f2839

    Thanks!

We like the 44 and 48 concept of the house top, but the lettering just seems too plain... it does not seem to have the pop that 2 and 49 have.

The speaker in 44 looks too much like a "target". Actually one of our competition sites at www.hometheaterspot.com has a target for it logo.

The EQ bands in 48 look like stacks of coins. An idea that I am thinking of is that you might look at our REW (Room EQ Wizard) site. REW is a big part of our forum and is all about equalization. Maybe there is some way to incorporate some or part of those images from it under the rooftop. http://www.hometheatershack.com/roomeq/

#49.... not sure about the ears on the sides ... and not sure about the lines under HOME THEATER and SHACK, but I like the pop that the letter has... and again I like the housetop concept. It seems to fit well since it is relative to a shack.

"HOME THEATER" needs to be bigger on #27. "SHACK" probably needs to be just a tiny bit smaller.

I just realized the "O" in "HOME" in #28 looks too much like the www.hometheaterspot.com logo. We will have to eliminate it.

I like #13, but not sure about the triangle A.

I also like #14... however, I wonder if the house top might look better if it was the same width of the letters? Also on our background color. I like the lettering for "SHACK" in this one better than #15, but I like the "HOME THEATER" lettering of #11... it is clearer, sharper... easier to read.

I like #17, but the lettering is too rounded, and as another stated, not sure about the "TH" ... and the speakers seem a bit too comic looking... not serious enough.

I went ahead and eliminated a few that we definitely do not like. I hope this is the proper thing to do.

Let me comment on those comments. In the brief I stated the following:

We like the idea of emphasizing "SHACK" with "HOME THEATER" on top as it is now, but we are open to other suggestions.

This seem contrary to comments on #4. It is okay to emphasize "SHACK", but nice to have the option of it not being emphasized. We just went around with RadioShack and are cleared to continue using "SHACK" in our name.

Here are some comments from our staff... these are merely comments for your information and do not indicate any particular design that the owners will choose.

    1. I like 13.

    2. I like 14 and 5.

    3. I would like to see number 3, but in the style of number 13, call me awkward.

    4. 17/18 has the advantage of not emphasising S H A C K, which might be something worth commenting on for other entrants, but the emphasis of the TH in Theater is odd. Could be worth suggesting the designer try some variations on that theme.

    5. 7/8 have echoes of RadioShack logos, worth making clear that is a no-no.

    6. I like 17/18.
