Thanks so much, seriously, to everyone who contributed to this contest.

We will begin final selection now, and it's going to be tough to make a final decision.

There should be prize money awarded to second and thrid best desings, because it's going to be close!

Thanks again, and I wish the best to all of you!

So many great designs. I'm going to leave everything until the contest ends, then start eliminating.

Any last minute ideas? Now is the time to get them in.

    Sorry otakatik, read comments posted July 22, 2011 9:59 PM. I've eliminated #156, #157, and #158.

Awsome touch in some #147, #149, and #151 fawwaz, with the logo on the electronic cigarette. Very professional.

Same with yours BIMPOP with the logo on a cigarette pack like in #137 and #140. Although electronic don't usually come in a pack like that, we're considering a line that does.

This is exactly what I'm looking for, something I can use on a website, letterhead, business cards, etc., and also use on small packages like in #137, and also on the electronic cigarette itself like in #151.

NIce work everyone! These latest revisions are very nice!

BIMPOP, try #141 without the blue background in the box.

    #133 is NICE honeybadger!

Nice work on the revisions BIMPOP, but I still like the V in #76 the best. Something about the fine pointed lines in the V that is really sharp. Would like to see that one with the custom V seperate like in #132.

I like the revisions honeybadger. I think the V logo would look better in #125 and #126 with no background color though.

Good work on #121 through #124 maxmix, but I think they would look better if the character spacing between the V and the A was the same as the character spacing in the rest of the name.

Nice revisions mdsgrafix. #119 and #120 are nice.

I like the custom V in #116 through #118 mazyo2x, but would like to see with a standard V in the name. Also concerned about how the custom V will look in B&W with the background color inside the circle.

Getting close to the end so I've choosen some finalists and rated with 5 stars.

Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to give me so many fine choices for a logo.

I have a feeling that the perfect logo is still to come though.

I'm really starting to lean towards a logo seperate from the name like #37, #88, #101, and #111. So, for designs that use a custom V to start the name, I'd like to see the name with the standard V in the same font, and the custom V seperate from the name like in those I mentioned.

Please don't withdraw any though. May go with the original idea in the end.

BIMPOP, what's up with #114? The name is spelled wrong and there's fire. ELECTRONIC cigarette. NO FIRE. I love the font though. I really like #76. Please read my comments in this post and the last one regarding #76 and see what you can do with this. I really like it.

Thanks again to all of you. As long as it's not against the rules, I will send the winner a sample of the finished product in a few months after first production run.

Thanks honeybadger. The V looks much better on #108 through #111. I've eliminated previous versions and I want to leave all of these for now.

Thanks for joining in mazyo2x. NOt sure what I think about your ideas, so going to think about #102 through #107 a bit before commenting further.

Thanks for the revisions mdsgrafix. I like the new concept in #101. Thanks for the color options on #99 and #100. Going to dwell on those a bit.

Note to all: In my brief I wrote "Undecided on the color. Would want something that looks good as grayscale or in color. Maybe some blue or green? Wide open for suggestions in this area." Why is almost everything green and blue?

Also, I'm not dead set on any specific concept. I think the fancy V as part of the name will look good, but I'm not a designer.

So, feel free to submit anything that YOU think looks good, and any color scheme that looks good to you.

Thanks to everyone who is participating!

#76 is sharp BIMPOP. Can the blue area and the green area of the V be brought together a little? I really like that font, and your custom V fits with it well.

Lots of great concepts. It's going to be tough to pick just one!

otakatik, I left #38 and #84 because I like the different idea with the L. I'm sorry, but I don't like your V designs so I've eliminated.

I like #69 mdsgrafix, but I think it would be better if the colors of the V were reversed. The others are nice, but we're getting close to the end so I've eliminated the others.

You've put a lot of work into this contest honeybadger. Thank you. I thinbk #66 would be nice without the flames. #67 and #68 are both nice too, but all need one minor adjustment. The V in all of these tilts slightly to the right, and I think it would look better if the V were rotated to the left slightly so it is straight.

#96 and #97 are nice fawwaz. The V in #46 is nice too, but not in the word. That V might be nice as a logo seperate from the word.

    I'm sorry QueenZahra, but I don't like your Vs. I think I prefer more symetrical. I eliminated #30, #92, and #93.

I like your entries carlovillamin. I like the seperate V logo more and more as I get entries like these. Not sure what color scheme I like best so I've left all three (#88, #89, and #90).

#74 is a keeper box1508, and the others were nice too, but have to start narrowing down so I eliminated them.

Don't have time for detailed comments until late tonight, so I'll eliminate and rate now, and add detailed comments later.

Thanks for all the revisions and new entries!

Well, #61 seems to be a repeat, but #57 and #58 would look nice without the flames.

I'm sorry mdsgrafix, I should have been more clear. I meant to reverse the colors on the V only. In the comment I was referencing, I wrote "Looks like the left side of the V has to be the same color as the rest of the word for the whole thing to look like a word". I eliminated #54 and #59. #60 is nice, but need to reverse the colors on the V. Just the V. Can this be made a little more narrow also? It seems a bit wide.

Why did you withdraw your latest revisions honeybadger? I though #57, #58, and #61 had potential.

I don't know what happened to my comments, but some of the references to drafts, like in the first sentence of my last post, my reference to #37 points to #3. Have no idea why, but please take note when reviewing these last comments.

Nice job deeyhanaa on #37. Didn't think I'd like the logo with the image then the complete name, but this is nice!

Thanks for joining otakatik. #38 is different and I'd like to dwell on it more, but not big on #39 so I eliminated it. Would be interested to see any other ideas you might have.

niklasiliffedesign has captured pretty much exactly what I had in mind originally with #40, #41, and #42. I've eliminated #11, but left #2 for sentimental reasons. If I go with my original thoughts, one of these would have to be the choice.

fawwaz. I've eliminated #24, too strong, and #25 because #44 and #45 seem to be an improvement over this one. I like the concept of these. I think the colors have to be reversed on #45 though. Looks like the left side of the V has to be the same color as the rest of the word for the whole thing to look like a word. Also, with both of them it might be nice to see the triple line slightly shorter and maybe a bit narrower (thinner lines more tightly packed).

I thought 9bitesdesign was on to something with #19, but the revision, #47, doesn't appear to reflect the comments I left, and it looks similar to some I've eliminated already, so I've eliminated it. Would still like to see a revision of #19 based on my comments in July 20, 2011 12:08 AM post.

I like the simplicity and clean look of #48 and #51 BIMPOP. #49 and #50 don't cut it for me so I eliminated them.

#52 and #53 didn't do anything for me mdsgrafix, but #54 is cool. As in a previous comment, I think the colors need reversed. Also, might be nicer if the triple lines were slightly longer and maybe a bit narrower (thinner lines more tightly packed).

I don't know about #56 fixdesign. Will leave for now but don't think this will make it.

Still looking forward to revisions to #3 by teguh, #18 by lakshmiks, and especially #9 by Mambutzica.

Thanks for participating deeyhanaa! I like the way you put the tagline on top in draft #36. It makes it so the logo will work easily with or without the tagline. I also like the interesting a and x in the font you used. I've noticed though that the logo seems to flow better when the straight line of the V is the same as the rest of the word, and the curvy part is the different color.

I can't tell you how happy I am with all your work! Thanks so much for participating in this contest!

One thing I've noticed is that all these are similar except for #22 and #24. Mostly because this is what I said I liked the most. BUT, I am very open to other ideas. I'm no designer, and I'm seeing that I may fall in love with something completely different that what I thought I wanted.

After reading this, I imagine some of you will lean back, take a deep breath, and say WTF. Well, "the customer doesn't really know what he likes until you give him what he asked for", and I think that in your business, this is true quite often.

So, please use your creative skills and give me some different ideas. I don't know what I may settle on, and as a result of my indecision, I've decided to up the ante another hundred bucks.

Keep up the good work, and let me see some of your best original ideas.

    Thanks again for your efforts!

Nice work honeybadger, #27 and #29 are modified as I suggested. I didn't notice the subtle difference between these two at first, but now that I do I'm not sure which I like better. I would like to see what these look like with the colors on the V reversed, meaning the straight part like the rest of the word, and the curvy part with the green to blue fade.

#22 and #24 are not what I was thinking, but I'm no designer and obviously you are. I like #22 a lot, and want to think about #24 more. Thanks for the original ideas!

#30 might be nicer if the straight part of the V were longer.

Great designs! Thanks to everyone who is participating!

    Here's some thoughts:

#2 is still one of my favorites. I'd like to see the V a little larger than the rest of the letters. Also maybe thicker/heavier. #11 is the right proportion in my opinion, but would like to see the V heavier.

I like the font in #3, but the V would be better is the curvy lines looked more like smoke than foilage. Also, the tagline could be a little larger.

#16 has potential. Would like to see the V tilted to the left a bit, and larger and heavier than the rest of the word.

#9 might be nice if the ring around the V were removed, and the rest of the lettering was larger proportionally. The V seems too large compared to the rest of the letters.

I really like #18, but not sure about the a that looks like an upside down e. Also, the x is a little too much like an H. The tagline looks gray. Maybe better in a darker blue?

#19 is nice! Maybe the V a little larger, but without thickening the straight line while thickening the curvy lines. It appears to lean to the right. Would like it better if it appeared more straigt.

I also like #21 alot, but might be nicer with the V a little larger and slightly thicker. Would also like to see with the tagline.
