Draft #30 is the best so far. I will give everyone else a little time to beat it, but it looks like a winner!

Draft #27 is my new favorite. I'm almost ready to finalize. Any other ideas?

Raindesign: the icon in #25 is awesome! Will it work on a white background? Anyone else have any icon ideas?

Designers: Thanks for all the submissions. I really want some new ideas. They can be rough. I am looking for an abstract gem logo, that does not look like a gem, and is not geometric like a wireframe. It should have the three colors of red, blue, green (to represent ruby, sapphire, emerald).

Ksherry: I like the gem, but it's too much like a gem. I was thinking more abstract, more curvy, and less symmetrical. I still like the original icon the best of all so far.

All Designers: I am looking for a unique icon that can be used with professional looking text that represents an abstract gem. Preferably it would use the three colors of the triad: ruby, sapphire, emerald.

Ksherry: #13 is awesome! Exactly what I am looking for. The best proposal so far! The design is perfect. What can you do to refine the icon? I am not the designer so I don't know!

DESIGNERS: The lawyers told me I have to take off the "Ltd" from the name. Sorry!

ksherry: Draft #10 is excellent. It looks like a finished product. Thank you. I will keep that one as a final candidate as I wait for other ideas. Thanks!

Raindesign: Thanks for the submissions! I love the multicolored icon in Draft #9! It represents well the triad of gems: emerald, ruby, sapphire. Here's what I want: 1) rotate the icon so it's vertical, 2) adjust the star effect so it's more prominent and symmetrical, and 3) insert the vertical gem into the text of Draft #8 between the "U.S." and the "GID".

ksherry: Drafts #1 and #2 are super-funky! It reminds me of the 1970s. I want more of a modern feel to our company. Drafts #5 and #6 are way too masculine, almost military like. Even with "U.S." in the name, we have to stay away from anything military or patriotic.

ksherry: On draft #4 change the text underneath so that is all in upper case. Also let's find another font that is similar but not so many serifs. Thanks for all the work!

ksherry: Thanks for the awesome drafts! I love the multicolored symbol in #3 and #4. Draft #4 is my favorite so far. The typeface needs to be a little bolder, but still keep the elegant look that you have.
