    Important Announcement:

Dear Designers - We cannot disqualify this contest or pick a different winner, but we can do this: We will re-open this contest for 24 hours. You have our permission to go in, withdraw all of your designs, and reuse them in another contest. We hope this helps.

[Please do not upload new or revised designs, this contest has been finalized, design #446 has been selected as a winner]

    Announcement:

The Project Holder has selected a winner. Our Technical/Creative Design team is disappointed to announce #446 is the winner of this contest. We have investigated this entry, and cannot disqualify it from submission.

We want to praise every designer who has participated in this contest. There are many beautiful, creative, and innovative designs here, all of which would make a fantastic final choice. Unfortunately, we cannot prevent a project holder from making a poor decision. We sincerely apologize that this contest has made our designers very frustrated.

We want to thank every designer who has entered this contest and submitted designs with the highest integrity, including TerryBogard, Cromox, donarkz, insign, tsumech, and sallu.

Good Luck to you all. All of us here at MycroBurst will try to prevent this from happening again.

    Are YOU!!!!

  • March 25, 2011 8:05 PM mdsgrafix

@terry - if you read thenyms post properly, he was not referring to how much money 500 fortune company spend on their logos , hes referring about the simplicity of them, most of them one colour and no FX

  • March 25, 2011 5:01 PM cromox

    agreed with u T-Bo..

  • March 25, 2011 1:13 PM thenyms

how odd if you take a look at the fortune 500 companies like HP,Microsoft,Walmart, general electric,IBM,Bank of America etc
all of them have a very simple and easy to remember logo. If you have very complex logos it will leave good impression on graphic designers but not for the en masse.

    Project Holder

@wacreative: What do you mean - logo mark or a design for company?

  • March 25, 2011 4:49 AM eryt96

I think the lesson learnt here for most of us is that shiny round logos are always preferred. In fact, the shinier and the more round, the better. These logos are absolutely everywhere you look. Uniqueness and simplicity just don't fly anymore, sadly.

  • March 25, 2011 2:30 AM donarkz

#400 very nice., looks like a new logo for IronMan... peace..

  • March 25, 2011 2:11 AM mdsgrafix

i agree with wacreative , this has turned into a special effects contest , what a pitty.

    good luck everyone
