i've been told that hearts are tad cheesy and it should be more vintage !?
    ?

furthermore, positioning, colour and font style are mysteriously similar to my designs.
i did not report anything as the PH accepted these tactics.

"so please no tea bags , tea cups we want it to be clever and subtle ..."

Hehe :D - your first comment was "no teabags, please" and in the end you chose a design that contains them... wise! :D

Design #122 (& variations) by finaldesign contains element derived from #37.
#175 (& and variations) by ProjekSemu are derivative of #115 by tatuk, therefore has been taken down.

Donarkz I like the quality of your image but its way to oriental looking we are going for more vintage shabby chic think style me pretty. Also we would like images that match our name ... these need to be very subtle though and not ovbvious.

heena nice design but it basically looks like the papyrus logo. Also the bird really doesnt have any relevance to our name.

bori 7 your pictures are too busy i also dont like the thorns on the branch it doesnt really spell romance. style is nice but its much. Also black is too strong dark brown instead. I like the aqua color on 94 that is spot on.

For all designers please read the notes ive written in the comments, that will give you an idea of what we want. there is also alot of info in the brief. Tatuk in response to your question your logo is too modern it needs to be vintage and have some kind of symbol we can use apart from the letters.

50 is really nice too. Again the birds are too abstract and have nothing to do with our name. The tea idea is based on me bein British and my Hubby being American. Tea unites brings people together and also is two parts coming together to share something. Like i said we want to be predominately branded as wedding photographers so this needs to speak volumes in our brand. So Sevenlions and absolotmud... you are both very on track.

So number 43 is our favourite so far. It just needs a little more of a vintage edge to it. The symbol is still to abstract and a little too modern it needs to be a bit softer and have more meaning, so if your looking at it without knowing anything about us it says something. Specifically elegance, style, closeness, love, expectation, inspiration. We mainly do weddings so couples, relationships need to be signified strongly through the image. I like the two hands idea but not necessarily a shared cup. It needs to be two seperate parts coming together (marriage) I hope this helps.... i love the type and the colours ... maybe go a little more aqua. Thanks

Still looking for that perfect logo. Keep them coming!!

  • December 13, 2010 10:04 PM sevenlions

it unifies two hands reaching for "the tea" from above with an focusing eye which stands for reasonable photography, that was the idea. but it will be no problem for me to reduce the the eye effect i can try it on another draft...
Thank you very much for the feedback.

Sevenlions: Great concept but the abstract mark is not strong enough. It looks too much like an eyeball.

Hi, so just to keep everyone on track with the vision. Please take a look at style me pretty website as this is more along the lines of what we want. Vintage, chic, stylish and simple NOT obvious...no cartoon y styles, we want to spell sophistication but simplicity, beauty and glamor, so please no tea bags , tea cups we want it to be clever and subtle ...Not busy, the colors we wanted (which are in our brief) are aqua and brown.
Looking forward to seeing more inspired logos !!
