    Attention Designers,

According to our best practices we believe there have been plenty of creative submissions, and contest holder could possibly choose the winner, but unfortunately he has withdrawn the contest.
We are glad that our designers have worked around the clock and submitted more than 700 designs in non guaranteed contest. We at mycroburst.com appreciate all the hard work put in by our design community therefore our senior management decided to reward multiple best contestants obtained the maximum design ratings.

$50 reward goes to the following contestants:

    1. Wacreative
    2. Kotakdesign
    3. bigred22

We want designers to know we love rewarding you and we want you to keep up the great work!
Please note that the payments will be processed on behalf of mycroburst.com account.’

I think rpgrafik is team of PH. So, probably he may win or that is the message conveyed to designers..... One design..... only one project..... Don't you guys smell something fishy?????

  • May 3, 2011 3:48 PM shahrzadflower

As far as I can see there are many good designs.(Even the PH has given some of them 4 stars rating).
In either case there is no excuse for just letting the designers hang in there not knowing what will finally happen to this project. After all they spend time and energy working on their designs and that in itself demands respect.

@ rpgrafik - he got what he asked for. Specific colors and initials. How many ways can that be done before you head into the outlandish? FEEDBACK always goes a long way toward getting the logo one wants.

    Jesus christ guys..

Look at almost all of the submissons?

None of them are worth paying for, and certainly not one of them are worthy of being used by Phil Ivey, A megastar like him needs a well thought logo.

So "designers": Stop crying and take a look inside yourself.

this is very disconcerning,,, the true designers here should take note and will not likely be wasting their time for nothing.
This will eventually make level of designs much weaker.

    @wacreative
It seems to. About 1/4 of the projects I've worked on have not ever chosen a winner. If they don't like what they see the answer would have been feedback. Apparently our time is not valuable to them.

  • April 30, 2011 11:36 PM wacreative

    does this happen frequently?

  • April 28, 2011 11:43 AM bigred22

So... I take it this one is done? About 20% of the projects I've participated in this has happened. Has there been any progress here?

Any info. regarding status on this contest would be helpful, thanks!

    This is unacceptable!

  • April 12, 2011 12:39 AM bigred22

I'm a frustrated as well, I really spent a lot of time on this, and probably is my best design. I wanted to win this one bad, but not picking anyone is probably worse. I still have my hopes up that something still may come of this, but I'd really like to know something? Is that to much to ask?

  • April 11, 2011 8:42 AM crani0

Admin, this is unacceptable, the deciding deadline is way over and there's no decision or answer by the project holder. I know the prize is not guaranteed but you could show a little bit of respect for the designers...i guess this is another "spec" work, and unfortunately its not my first on this site...

  • April 8, 2011 3:18 PM bigred22

So I take it there is no winner? The selection time is over right?

  • April 5, 2011 10:56 PM wacreative

Had some other concepts... darn! Good luck everyone.

  • April 2, 2011 12:13 AM wacreative

    reopening contest again?

  • April 1, 2011 6:06 PM sharl

Designers - Please remember that the Project Holder has requested a logo that has no references to Poker, playing cards, poker chips, or anything to do with poker.

Phil Ivey needs a universal logo that represents himself that he can use for any business endeavor.

    Thank you!

  • March 23, 2011 3:08 PM KimberlyONeill

crani0 sorry it's kind of similar, didn't even see yours. i guess it's bound to happen since there's so many drafts. sorry again

  • March 23, 2011 11:25 AM crani0

Draft #463 - clearly copied from my design and and concept...if you want to copy, at least do it from the rated ones lol

  • March 23, 2011 10:38 AM bigred22

There have been stars given out since then. I've changed my logo numerous times till I came up with my logo I have out now. All my initial drafts referred to poker, but they wanted something different... so I changed it. I'd say about half of the new logos that received 3-4 stars came out after they stated "no" poker references.

  • March 23, 2011 9:07 AM crani0

The project holder asked for no more poker references...but the majority of proposals with 3-4 stars have poker references...why is that?
