    To all, we have reopened this contest. My apologies for the long delay.

    #89 – we want to use the SP found in this design
    #73 – We want to use the TEXT design under the shield found in this design (we like the block lettering)
    #103 – We want to use the SHIELD and SCROLL work around the shield found in this design.

    Our colors are going to be SILVER and BLACK. Silver SP in the Shield with a Black Background. The text underneath the shield should be a black base. We want the logo to look masculine and not feminine. Our style is old English rod iron look, so please keep this in mind with the shield and scroll work around the shield.

    We would like the border of the shield to have some effects. Like riveted metal. There would be a look of extra metal over the joints and riveted together.     This is an update to the design breif so that everyone can see.


    Thank you for looking into my project. I want to take a moment to outline what we are trying to do.

    SABRE is a Parent company over three other companies. We Publish a magazine, manufacture Steel art, and License Logos for Schools. We do not want to focus on any one particular company but could tie in the concepts of each if needed.

    We want a nice classy logo primarily focused on the initials SP. We want to use an Old English or Gothic font. We do not want to use Gold. We want a nice high class look and feel. We like the S in #62 but that is about all.

    Do not use laurel leaves at all. We like the idea of a Shield and maybe a scroll.

    This is a new company and the logo is brand new. We have never really had one before. We are really needing the help.

    Thanks for all your work. Things are looking really good! I just received some feedback from our CEO. He would like a few minor changes.

    1. We must use the initials "SP"

    2. The CEO wants the font used in the "S" found in #33.

    3. This logo will be used as a foil/gold stamp on very nice business cards. The primary focus of the logo should be the initials "SP".

    4. Our CEO is not liking the current logo options and would essentially like to start over.

    5. The logo should be classy and elegant using the gothic style font found in #33.

    I really like many of these logos. I am really having a hard time. This is the first ever image for this company. It is a whole new thing.

    Do you have any other out of the box ideas.

    Sorry for the delay in response. We have had some bad weather here that has not allowed us to focus on this project. I will have some additional responses tomorrow.

    #8, #9, #11, #12, #13 are all too thick and bulky. Needs to be more streamlined. I don't like the blue color. Black and silver seem to look more professional for the company.

    #7 is looking good but maybe too simple. I don't like the square "S". It's too flat.

    #11 is too flat. There is no dimension at all and the gradient is too much.

    #10 is my most favorite. Just needs a little more depth. I don't like the circle's outline. (I like something more like the circle in #6). Colors look nice.

    #5 I don't like the colors at all. The font is too thick and the idea is too simple. Needs to look more sophisticated and professional.

    #6 I like the "S" in the circle but it's missing the "P". I really don't like the "wings". The image under the circle is too flat. Add dimension and texture.

    we ate looking for a high quality logo like the ones we have attached. The initials are to be in Gothic font!
