We currently use a powder blue for the logo and a warm grey -> chocolate for our website background with white text (or black text on white background). Both of which I'm happy with if they work with the new design

The new logo needs to work on that kind of colour background and white.

  not sure

The current logo is meant to represent the sea, and the shoreline (Meon - shore). The word Meon has a high cachet in the area (Meon valley being the geographic area with the shore a small part of it at the coast).

I'm NOT looking for obvious or cliche photographic references - so my preference is for no cameras, lenses, lens iris view.

If we incorporate any sub-logos or imagery into the design then my preference is to be able to augment a strong overall logo with a newborn baby icon or corporate style icon (office, product, people) to represent the actual service.

So for example I'll be using two sets of business cards, comp slips and letterheads one for the portrait business and one for the commercial..... with the only variant being the web address and maybe a subtle twist on the logo. The overall design needs to be consistent between the two.

Keen to have a strong graphic logo if possible. Would have to be very strong for the use of just the initials. I do have a preference for square or circular but don't want to rule out anything.

Fonts again prefer a stronger type, not script like I want to avoid the flowery, soft text and logos associated with many of the current wedding photography websites.

Uses: Website, Stationery, Brochures, Clothing, Adhesive labels, Banners (not vehicles, buildings)
