We are grateful to have had the opportunity to have so many creative minds working on such an important project.     The board extended this contest because the President and Vice President requested it. They are looking for something that is easily recognizable world wide as being specifically indicative of our company. They do not want to feel as if they have seen that concept somewhere else.     Designers have been emailing us asking what kind of logo we are looking for. We do not know we will know when we see it.We are looking for a logo to stand out easy to read from a distance.Also we want a design that looks like it is nation wide company not a mom and pop company.We want people to see the design and know that it is us. Not just the name.

    Attention designers,

    The board had raised the prize in the hopes of generating some new concepts. Please, keep in mind that they would like to keep all words in the company's name close to the same size so that not one particular area is emphasized more than another (ex. 121, 192, etc.). Please, if any one has any questions, ask. The board may take a moment to answer but, now that they know how to use the message interface on this site, they will respond asap. And remember, use bold, bright colors but do not be gaudy. Think of "New York's Wall Street" as opposed to the "Las Vegas Strip".

    The board feels that the over all look and "feel" of the designs of MojoLogos are headed in the right direction. Several have made positive comments on the creative quality of design #38 which could be seen as "futuristic" or "Escher-esque".

    They would like to see designs in both a blue jewel tone (think sapphires or deep tropical oceans) and a red jewel tone(think rubies or cranberries) with the glossy texture and reflective quality of #38.

    They would also like to see a concept with the NVS initials in the aforementioned colors and appearing to have a "wire like" or "twisted, rope of cables" sort of texture, as if you had taken five data cables (i.e. computer cable, CAT5, etc.) and twisted them into a rope. No frayed edges or loose wires and please remember not to use tag lines. Also, please keep a refined, polished look in mind.

    #15 is currently tied with #16 for the top spot with the board. They like the way the company's initials stand out and can be clearly seen and read from a distance. They also like the way the initials are used separately from the company's actual name. This design is closer to the "glossy" and "polished" look they are leaning towards. They would like to see a little more color. Some really like the current shades of blue and some would prefer to see some more contrasting colors. Perhaps with crimson, indigo or a jewel tone blue, and/or black? Rich colors preferred. Everyone agreed to get rid of the tagline and stick with the company name and/or initials only. As for the symbol, some members would like to see it without the symbol entirely, some would like to see a different symbol, and some said perhaps just modifying the original symbol a touch would work. Unfortunately, none could say really how to modify it except to maybe get rid of the "cross hairs" and do "something different" with the crescent shape. As you can probably tell, this is why the board decided to look outside the company for this particular task. Hope this is more helpful than confusing. The board looks forward to seeing more of this kind of work! Thanks

    #16 is currently the board's favorite. They all like the creative use of the red recording symbol in the upper right hand corner. The color combination makes the logo stand out a bit more than some of the others but they would still like to see a little more color. Perhaps an indigo or some other rich blue? Maybe have a little "reflective shine" or "gloss" to it as well? Over all, the logo is clean, simple, and easy to read from a distance and those are all things for which the board is looking. They would, however, like to have the "Inc" included with the name. Great beginning and good concept!

    #13 is a good concept but it is not going in the direction the board is looking for. They feel it looks too much like a lock or a film director's clap board. They also feel that it is not futuristic or representative of the "cutting edge" aspect for which they are searching. They are looking for something that is memorable, not too cluttered, and sort of gives the feeling of looking at the latest luxury sports car. Also, they would like more color and something that stands out a bit more. Needs to be technical. Thanks for your submission and please, keep submitting your designs.
