Many thanks to all the designers who participated in this contest!
Although we could only pick one design, we sincerely appreciated all the effort that went into all of the designs as well as the designers willingness to present additional adaptations. We wish all participants much success in the future!

    With appreciation,
    The Team at Mission Spark

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to submit a design. We really appreciate your time and efforts. For anyone who would like to submit a final design for consideration, here are a few thoughts:

We like two general color schemes:

    - Warm tones (like #229)
    - Vibrant accents (Teal: 2, 81, 106, Deep Pink: 166, 22, 104, Green: 116, 178, 48, Orange: 225, 134, 13, and Grey blue: 57, 76, 97) with the word “Mission” in a darker grey tone and the word “Spark” in a vibrant color. We like options with three accent colors the most.

If you have any final questions, please send us a private message. Finally, please put your logos on a PLAIN WHITE background. Also, please only use SOLID text.

Thank you so much for your participation.

    PLS FEEDBACK #261

Thank you for your participation and continued revisions! We really appreciate the time and effort you have all put into this contest.

    A few overall thoughts –
-We really like the designs that integrate the petal shapes
-For the designs using dots and circles, we are generally liking the designs with fewer dots that are more simple (like #72)
-We are interested in seeing some alternatives of a few designs that include bolder accent colors (see specific notes below). We are thinking deep pink, deep purple, deep teal, green, and possibly gold as some potential considerations.
-The higher rated designs are getting closer to our vision
-We generally prefer the designs that place the graphic on the left of the text. We still welcome alternative designs with the graphic placed in other locations.

    Some specific feedback:

#98 – Really like the test and layout. Do not like this graphic as much as some of the others, like the petals in #97

#97 – There are three of us making the decision about the logo and we all like this one. We would like to see an alternative with Spark in a pink tone (a bit darker than #42) and some other color options for the petals (solid colors for each individual petal, preferably). Also, we would like to see the tagline integrated as an option. We like the colors used in #87, for example. Could select one or two of these colors as accents.

#96 – We like this design but would like to see finer lettering (font is too chubby)

#93 – like the layout of the text but not the graphic

#86 – like the concept but the graphic is a too busy. Like the colors here.

#85 – like the concept but too many dots.

#87 – like the concept but would like it to be a bit cleaner/more modern. We like the color scheme here.

#72 – like the concept, maybe with some bolder colors.

#74 and #13 – We like both of these but would like to see something that would work on a white background, possibly with some bolder colors for the accents.

#42 – we like the pink color here (maybe a bit darker)

#78 - like the layout and concept, but would like a different graphic and more streamlined font

Just a reminder that "Mission" in Mission Spark has to do with working with community groups on social issues and is not related to religion.

We are really liking the designs that incorporate circles, dots, and the flower-type element of #13. We also like some of the new color choices, but would prefer to stay away from colors like bright pink (although we are liking the darker, more sophisticated pink - #42).

Here is another color palate to consider: www.coloradofunders.org.

Thank you for your participation and refinement of the designs.

#13, the flower is perfect but "spark" should have a bigger contrast than the background

#60 is interesting but there is to much contrast in the font type of the two words, mission and spark

Liking the clean and modern look of #43. The Grey works as a contrast color but the red is a little staid. Could benefit from a revision of 'spark' color to something more contemporary.

We like the direction of #42, maybe with fewer dots and some alternative placements for the dot design. Also, it would be nice to see some alternative colors.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a design for our consideration. We really appreciate your participation. Please consider the following input when crafting a design for our consideration:

-Please create your logo drafts on a WHITE background
-Please use solid toned text (NOT like #34, #30, #28, #21, and many others)
-Please consider some alternative colors – the reds, blues, and oranges that have been presented are NOT appealing to us. We would like to see some designs with some more modern accent colors (consider: teal, purple, green, blue-toned red, and other more modern colors).
-We are seeking a logo that communicates a modern, clean, and sophisticated feeling. Please keep this in mind when designing the logo.
-Our business is owned by three women. While we are NOT seeking a feminine logo, we ARE seeking something softer than nearly all of the current designs.
-The spark does not need to be so literal.

Again, thank you for your participation!

We would be interested in seeing some more styles like number 9, with possibly a smaller "spark" and some alternative colors-- the orange/red options though an initial suggestion in the brief aren't resonating as much with us. Perhaps a cooler color of red--with some blue undertone, Also liking the approach of 13 & 14, though 13 may be too floral. We would like to keep the "spark" aspect relatively abstract and less literal. We like solid tone text, as opposed to a two-tone effect as seen in #22. Thanks again for your efforts and ideas. We will try to keep the feedback coming!

CORRECTION: Our previous comment should read #1 and #2. The concept for #3 is too aggressive for our tastes.

Also, please read the brief carefully. #9 is closest to our interests at this point, but we specifically asked to avoid the combination of green and blue because another organization that operates in our community uses these colors. The clean look of #2 and #3 is also headed in the right direction.

Thank you for submitting designs for our contest. We appreciate your time and efforts. Generally, we would like designers to consider some softer designs and some colors other than orange, red, and yellow. We welcome submissions with bold color palates, especially for accents but generally would like a softer approach than most of the design options presented so far.
