DESIGNERS - at this point we are working through private messaging to finalize both a primary and secondary design. Thanks to all who have submitted, we will be in touch with a few of you.

#81 - can you move the sturgeon down to be the lower most fish (live more on the bottom) and the paddlefish to the top (more up in the open water)
#82 - similar to this one if you can

ALL DESIGNERS - At this point, input has been from the partnership coordinator and the chair of our outreach committee. We are trying to get several good designs to put out to the entire committee, who may view things differently than we do. We were looking for something simple and clean, but also something that all could relate to. I think we have several good designs, but one or two others that were more on the simple end but somehow could represent all would be nice to add to the mix. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

#15/16 - Not sure if it is possible, but if you could make that design be an abstract version of a fish AND a mussel, it would be a simple but effective logo.

#37 - Like the blue background. Other thing to work in, if possible, would be a fish (possibly smaller mussel if you need the room). Maybe a larger fish in the background? Maybe a sport fish (smallmouth bass?).

#38 - Nice, but suggest putting both mussels on the bottom...you might want to partially bury one if you want to have a little variety between the two mussels.

#46 - Good but might work better with the mussel on bottom of the circle and maybe a bit more waviness to the plants.

#48 - Creative concept but a little unsure of the "face" of the fish.

#52 - Creative way to incorporate fish, mussels, and vegetation. But the vegetation looks more like coral to me. Can you make the ends of the plants pointed rather than rounded or possibly make the plants more feathered than smooth?

#19 - Can you make the fish a bit more realistic?

#33 - Like the specific fish, but too many that are "big river" fish and our partnership is about the whole basin. Also would like to see a sport fish to appeal to anglers. Like the basin boundary and state lines, but those lines have changed (we don't include Tennessee and Cumberland rivers) and could well change in the future as this partnership is tied to a fairly new national effort and boundaries are subject to change. Like it, but hate to be tied to it.

#36 - Interesting to have the circle and words around the design, but need to have a fish that we can relate to more (at least a bit more realistic, smaller waves). Not sure how it would work, but a mussel or vegetation under the water would be cool.

#28 - Like the way the darker background makes this logo pop, but could you try something not black (blue?). Also, like the mussel in #29 with the extra lines.

There are two of us who get together to rate logos, so for now I will provide written feedback periodically and confer with my partner for actual ratings Thur/Fri morning and Sat/Sun afternoon.

#20 - Thank you for working in a mussel into a simple design.

#3 - Like the connection between fish and habitat. Like the brown tree trunk with blue Ohio River Basin. Would like to see any other designs along these lines that connect aquatic life (fish, mussels, etc.) with the land/trees/plants along the stream.

#14 - Like where you are headed, but not sure that people will fully grasp what they are looking at. Can you work in a fish or mussel into the vegetation? Also, can you make Ohio River Basin blue and Fish Habitat Partnership green.

We are a diverse partnership interested primarily in fish and mussels, but also in clean water, aquatic bugs/crayfish/etc, healthy aquatic vegetation, and just overall healthy stream habitat. We may not get that all in a logo, but we need some indication of diversity so that a wide cross-section of people can relate to our partnership.
