    Designers,

I am amazed at the excellent quality work that has been submitted. We're working on achieving a consensus, but you have made the selection process very difficult.

    Thank You,
    Ralph at Pinckney

    Designers,

If I have not commented specifically on your submission by draft number, it means that you are really, really wide of the mark.

    Draft 23 & 24

Liking the grain and fruit integration. Could you loose the vertical lines in both the dark and light background within the oval? I think they make it busier than it needs to be.

    Thanks,
    Ralph at Pinckney

Liking these revisions a lot. 22 especially good at integrating the river tie in.

    Draft #17

    Hello garamondgal,
This has promise. The shape of the "medallion" that encompasses the logo seems a little odd. Could we see some alternatives?

    Thank,
    Ralph at Pinckney
P.S. Ladd Creek logo is very cool.

    Draft #15

    Hello twisteddesign,

I like this revision. The fruit, grain and wheel is working Our name is long, and this presents design challenges. Three observations: 1)I'm wondering if there is a way to make the ship's wheel pop a bit more. It's getting lost in the fruit and grain. 2)Could the company name be enlarged relative to the whole logo, and 3) I'm also wondering if a different font style for the word 'Distillery' would make it a quicker read.

    Thanks,
    Ralph at Pinckney

Consider font style comments posted earlier.

I like the use of ship's wheel for river tie in. Loose the map, and the initials. Consider raw materials comment made for draft #1. Not crazy about the shade of burgandy or green, but that's an easy fix.

This looks promising. Same comments regarding map apply.

Loose the map. Instead perhaps consider our raw materials: grain and grapes. Consider an antique looking serif font style: Ambrosia, Iron Horse, Antique Shop, Becker Classic, or maybe Bank Note. Loose Artisan Spirits. Make the word 'distillery' more prominent.

    Designers,

Thanks for participating in this competition. A couple of general comments: First, the map elements are just not working. Way to busy when large and falls apart when small. Second, loose the initials (PBD).

    Regards,
    Ralph at Pinckney
