Okay Designers... less than 24 hours to go! I see that a lot of you are using the gear and trying to incorporate a globe. Most of them look too alien and space like to me.

Try something new. Try something with people in it, like jobseekers. Try something with a computer on it. Try something different than what we have seen thus far.

    Thank you!

    Dear Designers:

There is a little over a day left and so far anyone has a chance to win this contest. I can tell this one is going to come down to the wire.

Here are some thoughts to consider when designing your next concepts:

1.) Our company name should be written as follows- "ProjectControlsJobs.net"

2.) Research what "Project Controls" is. It is hard to design a logo for a company if you don't know what they do. Remember, this is a specialty job site for a particular type of career discipline.

3.) Here are a few things your logo can focus on. Choose one or two of these, but don't choose more than that because I do not want the logo to look busy.

    - Computer

    - Gear

    - Globe

    - puzzle piece (with icon on it)

    - networking

    - people

    - jobs

    - careers

4.) I have noticed that only one designer took the "jobs" theme to heart. It would be nice for our logo to relate to jobs or job seekers in some way.

5.) Be sure to read the creative brief, including what types of logos I like (style of logos) and what I want the logo to look like (modern, simple, etc).

    Thanks everyone!

Oh, and one more thing that I forgot to include in the brief... we would prefer to have a graphic on the left anbd the text to the right... kind of like drafts #9 and #10.

    Designers:

When designing your concepts, please make sure they relate to "Project Controls" in some way. If you do not know what project controls is, please research it on Google or go to one of the websites that I listed in the creative brief.

So far I like draft #3 the best, although I do not feel that is exactly what I am looking for. I am looking for something very creative and modern.

Here are a couple of ideas that may help:

    1) We own another company that has puzzle pieces in the logo, and something like that could work well for this too. I will upload a copy of our other logo and maybe something similar (in terms of the puzzle graphic)could be done to the left of the text on this logo.

If you choose to try this idea, please put symbols on the puzzle pieces that will represent things related to "project controls" and jobs.

    2) Another idea is to be original and design something great that relates to both Project Controls and Jobs. It will take a bit more research, but it should be fairly easy for those of you with a very creative mind. Just remember that whatever you design has to make since to anyone who visits the site.

    3) Maybe something with a gear, a globe, a hardhat, a tie, or a computer.

    Be Creative! Thanks!!

A couple of designers have made a mistake on our name. Please make sure the name is "ProjectControlsJobs.net"... NOT Projects as in Draft #3 and #9
