All similar drafts to the reported source have been taken down to avoid copyrights.

Winning draft #552 was too close to the given source thus, Contest Holder opted to select a different draft of the same designer.

Many many many thanks to every designers.
After review among some of our customers, we selected #552 from designpassionate.

Special thanks to (without order) lead29, bernard, carlovillamin, praztea, FlashD and refresh.
Thanks for the other too. I can't send a personnal message to all, too many people :-)

In the following days we probably ask for stationery and web site. It is not decided yet.

    Once again: good job !

    Dear designers,

this contest is nearly ended. I want to thank you for your wonderfull job. Some designs are very good. We have an idea about the winner(s) but this will be validated after your customers gave us feedback. So probably thursday. It's in 5 days. Seems a long delay ?

When the contest started, I sent feedback to every designer. But the rate was quickly too high, so some of you have been forgotten. Sorry for that.

For the two designers we couldn't see the designs, it's fixed. Was an ISP problem.

I'm amazed about the fact some people put their FIRST job less than 8 hours before the end of the contest. Tons of drafts. Why can't you post them before ? You had 7 days to do it. 8 hours is only 5% before the end. In less than 8 hours we can't do anything valuable to enhance a design.

Another idea, always with square :-)
A half-filled square. The left part is filled, the right part is empty (but with a border).
    D I G I is inside the left, V A L U E is inside the right (reversed colors).

    Feel free to experiment.

    Anyone to try this:
a big filled square (values = stable, durable, robust, simple)
The name (with or without the tagline) inside/outside/whatever in a creative/smart way (but simple).

Remember we have an second tagline in case it's usefull to balance something.

Here are some guidance because I think our brief is not clear enought.

It's hard to transmit many values with a logo. This is why even the best logos only transmit a reduced number of them.

The most important values for our needs are:
    - reliable, serious, experienced, established
    - simple

    A little less important:
    - high-end
    - money, value
    - efficiency, results, skills, abilities

    Lesser:
    - together, team, partners
    - consulting
    - take care of customers (so obvious...)

    And least of the least:
    - computing, technology

Don't rely on explainations to understand a design. If you need to explain what is this and that, this is because the correspondant value isn't obvious.
And yes, this is the hard part: being obvious with a logo.

Nobody sent an idea about reliability/solidity/strength.
In a smart way, as usual :-)

    Anyone want to try ?

Gramark, thanks for your big logos. I love #78

Anyone for other big ideas ?

I hope the comments I send in private are usefull.

Feel free to express your discontent if you think I'm wrong, or to clear up a misunderstanding.

I think I have to eliminate some designs to make some space on the first page. Not sure this is usefull.

Just an idea: a big minimalist/simple logo, with the name of the company in little (maybe without the tag line).

For information, our web page is http://digi-value.fr
You know what ? The next steps are stationeries and the web pages :-)

felex, we like your clean and classy designs. Simple, efficient. Your portfolio have nice samples about this ability. Nice colors too.

Your entries are too digital related.
Think about a financial consulting company, or something like that.

    creativica, thanks for your designs.
You focus too much on the digital side. Forget the fact we work with computers :-)

praztea, the triangles as initials is a very nice idea for your draft #8 !
Also the triangle/arrow in the name, very good. Clever. This tells "digital leads to value".

Can you find a way to transmit the idea of established, experienced, high-end ?
Once again, we find this in some financial logos, but I don't know how to translate it into an IT consulting logo.

Wow, already a design ?! Thanks sandras.
By chance, my wife is in Budapest this week-end, so I noticed your country. Isn't it time to go to bed ? :-)
I already saw your designs for Salad Republic and found you have nice ideas.

About your draft #1: well... no.
    Too sad/cold.
    Too common.
The 4th piece is different, this involve some sort of foreign body.
Sorry for this negative feedback, it is not intended to be harsh.

I'd like to thanks for all of you, (futur) entrants.

We mainly focus on the whole idea. As stated in the brief, something orginal/clever/smart/unexpected is very welcome.
