To all designers: when I started this project I didn's realize I needed to begin with my own design in mind and use designers to help create it. Also, I should have reviewed designers' portfolio's before I ever started and targeted them strictly for this project. With that being said, the Mycroburst rep informed me that it would be helpful for designers to know which designer's work I found most inspiring. Following their advice, please know that inspiration for this project should be drawn from the work found in cromox's portfolio -- remember, inspiration, not duplication. Here's looking forward to a successful contest and a great final design. Thanks!!!

I really like the work auraavatary is submitting -- the 3d effects, the absence of anything resembling clip-art, the originality, the use of light coming of the logo. This work truly reflects more of what I'm looking for -- any other designs along these lines would be welcome.

I said I would be open to a person, but it should be something other than that well-worn, overused person with the ball for a head. Thanks for your submissions and patience. This has proven way more difficult than I imagined -- also, not seeing the level of creativity in submissions that is clearly evident in designers' portfolios. Nevertheless, I am optimistic about getting a design that I am very happy with. And as I have communicated with Mycroburst, and as I have shown personally, I am willing to increase prize money accordingly.

Thanks for all the work and entries. I am looking for a stand alone logo using the CT without the little person (which has been widely and overly used in my area). I would like the design to have a mirror effect and the name "Calvary Tabernacle" to have a slight two-tone coloring throughout the letters. Any emblem that can be incorporated into the CT would be great -- it needs to convey life, new beginnings, hope, freedom, growth, happiness. Open to a person one a hill, leap of faith, etc. Thanks again for your time and effort. I hope the increased reward makes it worthwhile.

    Sincerely,

    Charlesct

Ok we are down to the wire and for any of you who are interested, I would like to see a logo that uses the C and the T without a crescent without clipart and without someone else's emblem or graphic. Again, I'm looking for something original and unique. Also any creativity with the font would be great as well Thanks for all submissions, I look forward to finalizing this in the next few days.

I just discovered that a leaf and cross logo is being used prominently in my immediate vicinity. Therefore, I will not be able to use a logo containing that combination -- especially the leaf. I am looking for something that conveys life, hope, deliverance, new possibilities, joy, second chances, growth. The logo should be unique and void of clipart. interested designers should strive for sophisticated and vibrant, alive and full of promise, inviting and engaging, something that shouts this is at long last the church you've been looking for all along. Get as creative and innovative with the name as necessary, keeping "tabernacle" smaller, less noticeable.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the submissions! To answer Sharl's question, I prefer an original, uniquely created logo design to anything that looks like or is clip art.

    Hello Project Holder,
From your stars may we assume you prefer a 3D abstract to a hand drawn "scene"?

Thanks again for the designs! Would like to see more creative work with font styles/shapes and colors. Also, I realize Calvary is heavy, almost forboding, and Tabernacle is archaic, antiquated --thanks for using the white space to keep things light -- still hoping for something brighter, more colorful. Also, it may help, even be preferable to keep Tabernacle substantially smaller. Thanks!

Thanks for your contributions. As of this writing, I am shying away from any clip art designs and leaning heavily toward a uniquely created design -- also, looking for earth tone colors more than pastels. Sorry for the slow feedback; this is my first time to use this site.
