  • December 10, 2009 12:57 AM CDanH

Dear CH..How is concept #195?(magnet grabbing events across the world wide web)

To all: If you are creating an image based logo. . think "web crawler" for events. We go out and crawl the web for local events. The designer that comes up with the coolest logo based on that wins. 1 day left.

To grizwells (Draft#100): Could you come up with another symbol that relates what we do as a company better: We crawl the web and grab events and present them in an organized easy to use manner. Draft#152 does a better job showing that with his pinwheel. Keep the layout the same, just come up with another image that represents grabbing in a cool fashion.

To Dave0585: Dave, your concept does a better job at relating a symbol to what we do as a company, grab events. We like your scheme the best, but Draft#100 layout is more appealing. If you could show something that combines your pinwheel scheme with how Draft#100 is laid out, that would be good

Thanks, let me know if you would like to see any changes, variations in color etc etc etc. And I will upload them ASAP.

    Kind regards

    Dave

To Draft#152: Love this concept. Love the pinwheel. Its a great symbol of what we do. "Grab all local events and present them in an organized cool manner" We are now torn.

To all: 2 days left and so far here are our top pick is Draft #100 by grizzwells. Don't give up, anything can happen in a few days. Keep in mind, text-based is more important than symbols. Be creative and clean with high quality. Our web platform will be very similar in theme to http://www.grouptable.com
This should be a big help.

  • December 7, 2009 7:39 AM grizzwells

To all: Make sure your color schemes are neutral. Not feminine.

To grizzwell: Our tagline is, "Your online source for local events" Your designs are missing the "Your"

Draft#57: We would like to see more of that chrome concept you show in the bottom right.

  • December 6, 2009 9:06 AM tkwalker

To Draft#40: Change color scheme. This is the exact color scheme of our competitor.

  • December 6, 2009 8:51 AM tkwalker

To all: What's most important to us is the name brand first. Font scheme, color and size weighs the most. Creative symbols are secondary when it comes to importance. We are now convinced we want the tagline in the logo.

Draft#67: Love the font theme. Change color scheme.

  • December 6, 2009 8:42 AM tkwalker
    Project Holder

To grizzwells: Maybe its the fact that your background canvas is so large as to make the logo text seem small in comparison to your competitor concepts

  • December 6, 2009 8:40 AM tkwalker
    Project Holder

To grizzwells: Please increase the size of your text. The name is more important than the symbol. Thanks

  • December 5, 2009 11:25 PM logomad

To all: Please don't give up. There is still time for a design we haven't seen to blow our mind. Notice how grizzwells kept at it and now is in the top 2. We are still open to creative designs.

Draft#40: See message for Draft#39. We really like you color and font scheme but love Draft#39 symbol. Your symbol is nice as well. We are going back and forth so far as to which one of you has the edge.
