  Yes

We are a medical imaging software company. Using advanced machine learning algorithms, we can tell whether a medical scan contains abnormalities such as cancer with accuracy that has so far exceeded that of an average radiologist. Our goal is to put this technology in the hands of patients and healthcare providers and to save lives through early, swift, and accurate diagnosis.

Our first - but not our only - product is a system which can diagnose breast cancer in mammograms. Later expansions may include x-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs of various parts of the body.

We have been experimenting with "floral" shades of "rose" and "peach" in our flower design: #ff73b2 and #ffa173 in a color workflow calibrated to sRGB (don't take that too literally; the same colors vary widely by calibration). Lavender shades may also work well. But please don't feel bound by these colors.

Colors associated with healing and recovery would work well. It may be best to avoid using too much blue or gray in a symbol (gray may work in text balanced against a more colorful symbol, though).

This logo will be used primarily against a white background with black body text and mostly gray and black images of medical scans.

Be very careful about anything "growing" on the logo. We work with cancer patients. Growths are bad.

We have been using a basic floral design as our working logo for website design templates and other in-house creative activity. No need to be bound by the "flower" concept, however:

Here it is in use on the header of a draft website design (not final):

We will apply our image matching algorithm (yes, the really accurate one which we use to detect cancers) to the result to ensure that it is original before we sign off.

There is an almost immediate opportunity for repeat work if you are interested! At some point we will be looking to employ a designer on a full-time basis.

Please submit layered files (.ai, .psd, etc.) with the final result.

I hope this project is a rewarding one and look forward to seeing your designs!

Best,
Michael
