This is for a redesigned logo that is associated with website vrmatchmaker.com. Just curious...is my Project Description confusing?

Here's a link which shows a bunch of Vintage Hawaiian themes...I really prefer the more vibrant colors in combination of the beige/sandy backgrounds: http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&q=Vintage+Hawaii&wrapid=tlif12871287118991&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=kAa4TOviM46usAPt8LCVDw&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CCQQsAQwAA&biw=1346&bih=626

Hey Guys...maybe the following thoughts will help:
    1) For the "VR"...I've often seen a split "v" set of palm trees used in place of a "V"
    2) For the matchmaker.com part of the text, I'd like to see bamboo used for the letters such as what you see at the bottom of this page: http://www.janesoceania.com/hawaii_vintage_postcards3/index1.htm (not the Bamboo Bar one...but the 2 above it with the word "Hawaii" using the bamboo)
    3) To add a little color and interest...perhaps using a nice red Hibiscus for the dot in the .com

Just some thoughts...hoping to see more variations of this logo.

    Thanks,
    Kenny
