  emiola marketing consultancy (emc) is a small, independent strategic planning consultancy for Fortune 50 Companies and Top 50 Advertising Agencies. emc’s services include qualitative market research, brand positioning/strategy, and new product brainstorming support. Our client roster includes the world’s leading beverage company and its’ advertising agencies so our logo must have the presence, power, and professionalism demanded by our clientele – but it must also be approachable and light-hearted in its’ sophistication to appeal to their creative natures.

The full agency name “Emiola Marketing Consultancy” must be the primary thrust of the logo (as required by California law).

Separately, we are also open to exploring secondary options that feature the company initials (emc) as a shorter identity for our collateral.

In **both** instances, the tagline should be included as a cohesive, secondary piece of the logo.

OPTIONAL: If we can integrate a visual metaphor of our services (creativity + insight) into the logo, that would be ideal, but we want to avoid it appearing cluttered and recognize that with the signature and tagline, we have probably maximized what we can communicate. Please consider this optional and pursue only if inspired by this direction.

  We are fairly open to suggestions - thinking about 2-3 colors max, but don't want to limit your creativity! We initially started with a sophisticated red (see attached inspiration from Lexus cars - Matador Red Mica), juxtaposed against either dark greys or black. We also like earthy, neutral colors to keep things warm and friendly.

  The logo will serve as the inspiration to feed all supporting marketing collateral (website, brochures, business cards), so it’s important that the logo works in full color as well as black-and-white. Ideally, the logo should also “reverse out” against red (likely the emphasis color on the back of our business cards) and work against a black or white website background.

At all costs, we want to AVOID looking ordinary, boring, and corporate – the logo should have energy, dynamism, and movement. Good luck and thanks in advance for lending us your creativity!!!
