OK, I'm starting to like #19 - though I'm not crazy about the font. I'd prefer the text to be bigger, and perhaps a touch fancier, or perhaps some accent scrollwork (like in 6 & 10). Just to give it a more retro or classic look.

Also, close-up the logo looks friendly, but from a distance (or when it is smaller) it looks a bit angry. Any way to cheer-it up just a tad?

Also wondering how the face would look with the lighter green, and the leaves darker (basically flip-flop the colors).

Remember all, the photos I linked to in the brief were just to get an idea of what the Green Man is (face with vegetation growing from it)...the logo doesn't need to look exactly like the examples. #4 actually did a great job interpreting the concept and making it into a simple character (though I was hoping for more distinguished than cute). Feel free to be creative and deviate from the "traditional" look as long as it still captures the idea...even if it is "cute".

    :)

    PS - I do like the font in #12 & #15.

#15 is an improvement over your #12, though the black space seems off (like something is missing?). Would also like to see more "leafy" and less scroll-like pattern.

#13 & 14 - getting much closer to what I am looking for. Is it possible to see #14 with the same facial features as #13 (I notice the eyes and shading seem to be missing)?

Also, is it possible to have a very thin black edge to the leaves (to make them more defined and maybe give it more of the 3-dimensional feel #13 has)?

I am still really liking #6 and #10, I'm just not completely happy with the face. I think if the "leafy" parts were more identifiable as leaves it would help. A few larger leaves (maple or oak tree style??) rather than many intricate ones.

I think I would like #11 more if it were not just an outline. Perhaps if at least a portion of it were filled in to make it seem more solid?

#8,9 - I like it, though not really what I was looking for. I'll have to ponder it a bit.

#6 & #10, I really like the general feel, but am hoping for something a little more identifiable as the green man. I think the issue is just that at a quick glance the image looks more like Jesus, or simply a bearded man. So far, these are the closest to what I want.

#11 is a little stern looking, but closer to the "green man" concept. Also the font is too "modern" looking for the traditional feeling I would like.

#6 is headed in the right direction.

Hatter - good job with #4 incorporating the green man without him being scary. He looks perky & fun. I was originally hoping for something a bit more "formal" or "distinguished" (basically less cartoon-ish), but would consider something like this.

Another nice one, comlogo. #2 is a nice clean look, though I am still hoping for some submissions with a more traditional "Green Man". In the event more submissions are made without the Green Man, I would prefer any "vegetation" in the logo focused on (or at least including) grass somewhere, since that is the bulk of my business. Keep up the nice work!

comlogo, #1 looks nice. I'm hoping for a more traditional "green man" incorporated into the logo (see Brief), but if that doesn't work out something like this could have potential.

I will be watching the progress, so if any of you designers wish to submit a "quick & dirty" rough draft for comments, I will be happy to give timely feedback.
