#55 - I was looking for a little maple leaf inside the drip (instead of the letters).

#47 - maybe another revision to see. One with out the FG drop and just the 4 along the bottom (but spread out a bit more, with red outline).

For that last comment just to be clear I actually mean #19 (not #4) with the revised text style.

Sorry I like #22 but my wife liked #4... my mistake.

On #48 - I liked #4's roll of fabric better and then I was looking for a roller like #18/22 or similar at the far right where the roll in #4 ended. and then I was thinking maybe a tighter curve in the blue so that the overall height of the logo comes down.

No winner yet, but a favourite. Still 2 more staff that have not looked so it is not decided yet. I would focus on adjusting current designs but I am still looking at all submissions. If one becomes a clear winner when talking to my staff then I will end the contest but right now even the favourite #47 based designs people have things they don't like. Other designs with support are #22 (my wife) and #41 (my father and my brother/partner).

We would like to see 3 variations on #47

1 with the drips in the same orientation as #2, 1 with the FG in the big drip changed for a maple leaf and 1 with the outline of the icon drips in red.

Also #47's fabric roll should be a little taller as one comment was that it looks a little like tissue paper. This should revised in all of the 3 new versions and just a straight copy of #47 with the new roll.

Ok I am going to start getting some feedback from stakeholders (staff) and let you know more feedback after that. Like #47 just what I was looking for from that design.

I'll also try and leave some more feedback once I get to work and have some time to look over the new drafts in more detail.

#27 Try the maple leaf in red and no drops from the roller.

#20 - not that is not what I meant. Try just the drip from #8 in the place of the one in #2. Then do 3 seperate drips of the same shape, but smaller, under the text with a icon style brush, roller, and tin. I try and draft a copy later and upload it to make it clear along with some suggestions for others.

#18 That is better. Try doing the maple leaf white with just a red border on the left side (like the roller is painting it red).

#19 - Text looks good now but can you lower the height of the design portion and add a roller to the back of the red fabric?

#15 is the one I like the best over #16/#17 but you could lose the F in the drip as it serves no purpose.

More later with the sketch suggestions for some of these drafts that I will upload. May be quite late Pacific time though.

#8 I like the drip better as you have f and G in it. Still would like to see like some icon style brush, roller and tin in the same drip shape under the logo. I also like the placement of the design better in #2.

#9/10/11 - nice but not for me.

#14 - don't need an F on the maple leaf. The underline is a bit generic. The roller could be blue on the sleeve to stand out better.
#13 Not bad. But we don't ship around the world, only Canada. #5 is not as nice, a drip is good but it looks like we spilled things. That is not what we are after.

#4 The .ca should be the same size at the rest. The top is nice but if you could make it a little less tall and maybe have a roller at the end of the fabric (or maybe try one with a roller and one without).

#6 Like the clean look but need some more descriptive design elements. Not really sure what is in the drip.

#7 Try more things in the cart and try some red.

OK, lets get started. Gave everyone 3 star and these stars will change as they are relative to the rest of the submissions. Generally only a 4 and up are looked at in the end.

#1 I like the look of the design but the F is a little hard to see on the colour version. See need to get an idea of what the site sells from the logo and I don't get any of that.

#2 Like the simple stylish look but similar to one, it does not show what we sell and how. For both #1 and #2 you could do a set of symbols below the main logo with product elements. #1 could use boxes to match the F and #2 could use 'circle with a corner' shape from the logo. Basically like product icons under the logo.

#3 I like the concept but it needs more items in the cart and I might use the drip less. Also try the red and blue on the next draft (for the text) with black as needed.

    Hello,

Just a note to start. Draft designs are welcome, even sketches to start if you want to throw an idea out without fully developing it. I will be very active giving feedback especially early on. FYI, I am on Pacific time.
